Goodbye, Dinah

Allison Sleeping With Dinah
Originally uploaded by clickcraftsman.

Aged 8, one of our two Burmese cats Dinah (shown in May snuggling with Allison) succumbed to a virus during our holiday trip. Rather than burdening our neighbour, we had checked her into the vet during our absence, the stress of which probably accelerated her death, although it was inevitable. Her half-sister Alice has been pining all day, so we are off to the same breeder to get a new Burmese kitten. As you can see, their demeanour with the children is superb.

What a beautiful photo! I am sorry to hear about your cat. Ours is 14 years old and we'll miss her very much if/when she dies.
