It is our goal at Massey Family Chiropractic to obtain maximum results with your health as chiropractic is NATURAL health care. It is a health science that is based on the fact that the nervous system controls the function of every cell, tissue and organ in the body. If communication fo the nervous system is interfered with, this interuption can cause malfunction of the tissues, joints and organs. This irritation in the spine is called subluxation (misalignment) and occurs when there is a loss of normal alignment of the spinal bones.
Like blood pressure, there are normal ranges for spinal alignment. When you fall outside of these, the spine will degenerate faster than it should and wear like a car tyre that is not properly balanced.
Our job as chiropractors is to gently move the bones of your spine back into their correct position, allowing your nervous system to return to normal.
But what if I don't have any pain?
You can't feel subluxations (misalignment) in your body. What you feel are the effects of subluxations. Just like you can't feel your arteries hardening to produce heart disease, but you will eventually feel the effects. Some examples are decreased energy and vitality, poor digestion, poor balance.
