Scent: Citrus: Properties: Antiseptic, Astringent, anti-depressant, anti-scorbutic, sensitizes the skin, do not use before sunbathing, refreshing, mood uplifting, relieves anxiety, nervous tension, stress, improves alertness and helps to relieve mental fatigue.
It is believed to help in the reduction of cellulite deposits, has a purifying quality.
Essential oil of: Lavender: (Lavandula Officinalis)
Scent: Floral herbaceous. Properties: Antiseptic, calming, treats headaches, insomnia,depression, aches, wounds, insect bites, reduces stress and tension, is purifying and healing to the skin.
Lavender can help to relax muscles and reduce inflammation.

Which Essential oil goes with what?
Massage for Relaxation: Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, mix all three together into your carrier oil for a relaxed state of mind.
For Refreshing, Vitalising Massage or bath the following combinations may be used:

Lemon & Rose Geranium, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass & Rosemary. Peppermint & Rosemary. Spearmint & Rose Geranium.
For people who are stressed Combinations:
Lavender & Geranium. Lemon & Orange. Lavender, Patchouli and Ylang Ylang. Bergamot and Lavender. Bergamot, Lavender and Rose Geranium.
For those who are feeling depressed:
Lavender, Geranium and Bergamot are an excellent combination for helping to allieviate depression. Other combinations are: Sandalwood and Clary Sage. Bergamot and Patchouli. Rosemary, Peppermint and Lemon. Spearmint, Lemon and Rose geranium.
As a massage try, Clary Sage, Rose Geranium and Bergamot. or lavender, Rose and Patchouli in Almond oil, or Apricot oil.
Try some Lavender, Rosemary (Not if Pregnant) Lemongrass in a carrier oil of Grapeseed, Almond or Canola oil.
Use only low doses of selected essential oils during pregnancy!
Oils recommended for use during pregnancy - only 2-3 drops at one time.
Lavender, rose, neroli, frankinsence, geranium, lemon, bergamot, mandarin, sandalwood, ylang ylang, chamomile.
Essential oils that should be avoided during pregnancy!
Clary sage, clove, basil, rosemary, sage, juniper, jasmine, anise, myrrth, cinnamon, spearmint, peppermint.
