This first part of this section, like the previous set of deliverance prayers, can be used for individuals or groups. All that is to be need to be changed is the pronouns to reflect whether you are saying it for yourself or for a group. What follows is personally directed so the pronouns will need to be changed to be used for groups.

These prayers should really be said after the prayers in the previous section. They can also be said as a deliverance session or as individual prayers to deal with a specific situation.

The section contains example prayers. There are also details in this section as to why we pray certain things so that you can use it to learn more about deliverance type prayers. Most of the prayers illustrate step 1 of the five steps and steps 3-5 are prayed at various key points in this section and at the end of the chapter as these are necessary to actually cast out any demons and must be said for the demons to go.

An example follows. This happened to me on a train because of a demon using some ones game music to annoy me and I knew this so I tried to cast it out and it did not go. Then the Lord spoke to me.

Casting out a demon because it annoys you may be the wrong reason. It maybe there to annoy everyone so casting it out because it annoys you is the wrong reason so it does not have to go

So I cast it out in Jesus’ Name for annoying everyone in the carriage and the game music stopped.

In deliverance it is the heart attitude and not what is said that is important. The following prayers are declarations that help focus you on the Lordship of Jesus and state your attitude to Jesus so demons know where you stand in relation to His Lordship.

True deliverance results from giving every area to Jesus as Lord of your life. This means giving him the complete control of these areas. This is done as you make Him your Lord and Master of those areas. This allows Him to protect and administrate these areas as they are now part of His area of authority (His Kingdom). Satan no longer has a right to anything in these areas because they have been given to Jesus and is easily commanded to leave these areas when done so in the Name of Jesus.

While people call Jesus Lord at their Salvation event, many do not really understand what it means. They do not tell Satan to leave so he hangs around until told to go in Jesus Name.

We grow in Lordship as we evict Satan from our soul. The growth occurs through the focusing of ourself on Jesus and His Will and removing all that will hinder it. As we do this we make Him Lord of more areas of our life. This is also how we preserve our salvation. You are either focusing on Jesus and growing in obedience to Him as Lord or you are not and serving Satan possibly by your inactivity.

Father, I approach you through the sacrifice of the Blood of Jesus shed at Calvary, the only sacrifice sufficient to meet the requirements of God’s judgment and able to restore me to a relationship with You, Jesus and The Holy Spirit so I can approach you and confidently pray the following.

Lord Jesus, I give all I am to you and declare I want you to be Lord of all I am. I want you to be Lord of every part of my life.

In Jesus’ Name I forbid any demon from blocking my deliverance in any way, from manifesting in any way in me, or from blocking me from hearing and understanding the Truths The Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit want me to hear, and from affecting me in any way mentally, spiritually, physically or emotionally.

In Jesus’ Name I command every demon that does not have a right to be in me or in this building to go to the abyss.

Forgiveness is required and necessary, as God cannot forgive you your sins (wrongs) against Him or others if you do not forgive others their wrongs against you. If your sins are not forgiven, you are not in a salvation relationship with Jesus that allows Him to deliver you and will go to hell when you die. If you cause another to be offended, you cannot bring your gift to the altar and offer it to Him. Nothing you do, ministry, service or otherwise can be accepted by Him until you are in a correct relationship or at least try to be in one with those you have offended.

You are required to try and reconcile to another you have offended. If they do not accept your attempt to reconcile that is their problem. You have done what is required by God to be done. This assumes you wholeheartedly tried to be reconciled otherwise you have achieved nothing by your efforts and are still not in a correct relationship with God. To not try to be reconciled shows a lack of love to or dear of them and possible unforgiveness to them.

If they can accept reconciliation at a later date they you are to try again. You also need to repent of bitterness, wrong attitudes and especially the ‘root of bitterness’ as these are a result of unforgiveness or cause unforgiveness to remain.

I completely forgive all those who have offended me as well as myself, even if only by faith because you ask me to.

I repent of any bitterness, root of bitterness and any other wrong attitudes in me (whether I know of them or not) toward anyone Lord, including myself, especially those who have hurt me or who have knowingly allowed people to hurt me.

Help me to repent of unforgiveness, bitterness, root of bitterness and wrong attitudes toward those with whom I have trouble doing this.

I repent of showing lack of love to others so that, in so doing I have offended you and others and ask you what to do about this.

I know all shame guilt and condemnation were dealt with at calvary and these now are from Satan so I command them to go in Jesus Name.

Legalists concentrate on performance, ritual and impersonal activities rather than people:

A legalist does not feel good enough for unconditional love so uses things you do for them and the way you obey them, as well as what they control (people or things), their possessions, and performance to evaluate their worth and self-esteem.

People who have low self esteem cannot accept themselves because of who they believe they are. Others have told them they were not worthwhile and they believed them. They have a wrong perspective on self-esteem and similar. They get self-esteem from what they do and how people obey them or accept them. That is why so many are in positions of authority or fall apart if they fail to achieve their goals. They also use possessions and accumulation of things as a form of self worth.

They need to see their worth in Jesus and what He thinks of them to be freed from this as well as believe what The Bible says about their worth.

Legalism and low self-esteem always occur together as legalism is one result of low self-esteem and is dealt with the attaining of correct self esteem. However you also need to remove the demons that came in with the legalism so you should pray as follows (after the prayer for self-esteem) to deal with these demons.

Lord, everywhere people are telling me what I should do, what I should buy, how I should live (e.g. advertising, family, peer groups and even churches), and for what I should strive for. All want me to follow their advice. They tell me how I should value myself, accept myself and what I should have self-esteem in. I don’t want what the world has to offer in these areas. I want only to do what You want me to and to have what You want me to use and to be steward of.

I know I have worth, not because of what I have done or what people think of me, but because Jesus died for me and made it possible to relate personally to Him and be a citizen of His Kingdom, and that because of this I am acceptable to You as I am and not as I think I should be. I also know, Father, that You planned my life so I can be like Jesus and that You have provided all I need to live as You want me too and have given me The Holy Spirit to help me in this.

I repent of getting my elf-esteem from my appearance, abilities, achievement, possessions or anything else I have used and accepting the opinion of other people more than your opinion of me. I also repent of desiring to please man and not you and I am sorry Lord for this

I want my esteem to be as a result of what You think of me, my value, because of the value You place on me, and my self-acceptance, because I am accepted by You as I am. I give You my purposes, plans, desires, ministry, and everything I seek to do or be in this life. I want to do what You want me to do and be what You want me to be. I want to be a faithful servant and citizen of Your Kingdom.

I know failure will occur, but there is no shame or guilt or condemnation in these as Jesus dealt with them at Calvary, because my sins were dealt with there along with anything associated with or resulting from them.

I also repent of any wrong attitudes toward failure as failure will come because I am not perfect, but I know You accept me as I am and all I am required to do is to repent and to keep trying to obey you.

I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong in these areas. I want only to serve You and obey You in every thing I do.

In Jesus Name I command all legalism, perfectionism and any other demons in these areas to all go in Jesus name to the abyss. I do not want these things in my life as I want to express God’s Love in all I do.

Insecurity is always a result of insecurity in our relationship with God and our concept of what He does or will do for us. This is then reflected in the relationship we have with God, ourself and others. It is when we do not trust the security God offers us or rely on ourself or others for our security that we can have problems.

There is a fear involved. What are you afraid God is not going to do for you? That is the area you will be insecure in so give it to Jesus using the framework of the five steps.

Another major fear that causes insecurity is that God will give up on you and that your not worthwhile doing anything for. It is suggested you pray for feelings of insecurity as follows:

Lord I forgives those that treated me wrongly as a person I and repent of bitterness, root of bitterness and also of any wrong attitudes towards them and I forgive myself even if only by faith. I repent of self pity and not trusting you as I should Jesus as well as having a wrong opinion of my worth and value to you and of believing I will never having anything good or of being happy or being financially able to cope. I repent of suicide wishes and giving up on life as well as of self pity I may have. I repent of having a martyr spirit as well.

And I say to satan that I am worthwhile and that Jesus has done good for me and will do so in future so I say to you:

Satan you have no place in these areas so in Jesus name go to the abyss and stay there

I command healing and restoration in Jesus name and the filling afresh of me by the Holy Spirit

If the person does not love themselves or believe they cannot be loved then the following prayer should be said:

Lord I have trouble accepting your love for me. I forgive all who hurt me to cause this attitude in me and repent of bitterness, bitterness root of and of any wrong attitudes I have to them. So I say to Satan I want to love as Jesus does and I know He Loves me so you and your lies must go from these areas in Jesus Name to the abyss and stay there. Be healed and restored in Jesus name and filled afresh by the Holy Spirit.

Frustration occurs because God is not working to our timing or the way we want Him o work. It is a lack of trust. You need to repent of this and of not accepting His timing and His ways of doing things and then declare you want to follow His timing and His ways.

Lord I repent of not wanting to follow your timing or your ways. I declare I will now accept these and trust you in what happens so Satan you can no longer use these against me so go to the abyss in Jesus Name and stay there.

When a person suffers a traumatic event or a shock of any kind it can be so devastating that they block it off in their memory and cannot remember it. Demons hide in this blocked-off memory area and attack from there, which is why, after experiencing apparent deliverance, a person still does some sin against their will. The purpose of this prayer is to remove the walls around this area of memory, remove the demons hiding there and integrate the person’s memory.

As this is done, the person may need to forgive others as well as repent of unforgiveness, bitterness, root of bitterness and wrong attitudes to these people.

Lord, I have parts of memory I cannot remember. I give them to You. I don’t want the walls or what the demons in there offer. I want my mind, personality, all I am, to be whole and unified under your control and have the sound mind you promised all who followed you so that I can serve You only and be as free as You promised me I would be. I give You all the events and circumstances that led to these walls being built which allowed the demons to gain entrance to that part of my memory as well as the resultant attitudes and coping mechanisms. I repent of these Jesus and want you to be Lord of them.

Satan, you have done things to me without my consent. I did not agree to them and do not want them. In Jesus’ Name I command you to take all you did to me out of me and away from me along with any walls you built in me as well as anything around me covering me, blinding me, or binding me. I command you in Jesus’ Name to remove along with you the walls you have placed in me, the demons hiding behind the walls that were in me and all of the consequences of the actions of any of these demons in me.

In Jesus’ Name I also break any wrong soul ties in me and command healing and restoration of any damage done by the demons that have used these soul ties for any purpose and in Jesus’ Name I command any demons that have used these at any time to go to the abyss now and ask you Holy Spirit to take their place.

Father I am sorry for anything I have done wrong in these areas to allow these walls to form and for not looking to you for help in dealing with these events.

I forgive all those who hurt me, including myself, or who allowed me to be hurt (list any that come to mind then) and repent of any unforgiveness, bitterness, root of bitterness and any wrong attitudes in me (whether I know of them or not) toward these people.

All mental illness is similar in a way to bipolar mental illness. It is just the degree that is different. Arrested development is also a form of mental illness and can be cured by Jesus. Remember though, it may take time for the healing to be fully realised because of the adjustments a person has to make to the new ways of thinking. The Holy Spirit will guide you through this period if you ask Him too.

There may be fears also that need to be dealt so ask The Holy Spirit if there is and use the ‘Five Points to Victory’ to get rid of these fears.

People who have military service often experience shock or trauma and this allows demonic attack so a prayer like the following should be said if only just to ensure nothing has happened to them in these times of shock or trauma.

Lord, I give you all the experiences and events as well as a I was taught while in the armed services or similar paramilitary bodies. I also give you all the consequences of these.

I forgive my enemies i fought against as well as all those who hurt or abused me in anyway and repent of bitterness, root of bitterness and wrong attitudes towards them (whether i know of these things or not). Lord help me to do this please. I also repent of anything I have done wrong in these areas and forgive myself for anything I have done wrong as well and for any wrong attitudes I have towards myself.

I break every curse over me from any source and in Jesus’ Name command the spirits enforcing them to go to the abyss and stay there.

In Jesus’ Name i command all the consequences of anything you have done to me without my consent to be removed completely.

In Jesus’ Name I command you Satan to leave these areas and take all you placed in me with you to the abyss and to stay there.

In Jesus’ Name I command complete restoration and healing of all I am as a person and ask you Holy Spirit to take the place of the demons that have left.

They have a demon of false guilt that drives them in all they do to try and show gratitude (for being adopted) to every one they meet no matter what the cost is to them to be able to do this.

I thank you for the people who adopted me and give to you all the emotions and events i have experienced in thnis area of adoption. I know that all guilt shamea and condemnation was dealt with at calvary so these are to go to the abyss immediately in jesus name and stay there.

At times a part of the memory is ‘hurt’ so much it is separated and does not grow with the adult, This part is called the ‘child within’ as it appears as child but it really is childhood memories of the adult trapped and controlled by demons. It is not an actual personality but a part of the memory blocked off by demons and needs to be freed from them. It is almost like a bipolar/MPD situation.

The personalities in MPD are demons masquerading as the child. The more the abuse, the more ‘personalities’ appear to be in the child. The bipolar prayers remove the walls but sometimes the memory appears like a little child in the person’s soul. This needs to be integrated into the adult.

Lord, a childlike part of me is not integrated in my mind. I give you this area, the hurts and events that led to this hurt and allowing a demon to trap these memories and hide in them. I am sorry for not trusting you and for allowing this to happen and forgive all those that did this to me. I ask you to integrate this ‘little child’ into my personality.

Satan uses the sins of a parent to place disease on a child in the womb. He has no right to do this as in the Bible is a principle that a child is not to be punished for the sins of the parent (Gal 6:7-8). The child will need to forgive the parents and anyone who hurt them.

I forgive all those who hurt me and repent of any unforgiveness, bitterness, root of bitterness and any wrong attitudes toward them.

Satan, when I was in my mother’s womb my parents sinned and you placed disease on me. The Bible says that a child shall not be punished for the sin of their parent and you have done that to me and had no right to do this.

Satan! I command you in Jesus Name to remove all you placed on me in the womb without my consent as well as all the consequences of these things and to take them all to the abyss with you.

In Jesus Name I command healing and restoration on all the damage you did to me in the womb and ask you Holy Spirit to take their place.

Often the only stability an abused person has is the security the abuser gives them. It is the only stability and security they know as they have never known any other. They become dependant on the abuser and when they leave them they are often insecure because of this as the only security they have known is gone.

Lord, I give you my co-dependancy on anyone or anything and I repent from getting my worth and security from them and not trusting you in this. I forgive all who caused this in me and give all the events that formed this in me, to you. I declare my dependency is now on Jesus and I will trust Him for my security.

A parent abandoned, or ignored you or left the family, or

You were adopted or lived between relatives and not at home that often, or

You had legalistic perfectionistic parents, or

You had one or both parents reject you,

Your concept of love will be wrong and you will have a hard time loving God (especially The Father) or knowing His Love. Jesus can deliver you from this and heal your love. You should to pray:

Lord I give you the way I love and relate to people, my loneliness, feelings of abandonment, self-rejection and any other wrong attitudes about myself and others.

I forgive all those who hurt me and repent of any unforgiveness, bitterness, root of bitterness and any wrong attitudes toward them.

People who are hypnotised, or that act as mediums or clairvoyants allow a demon to take them over and be their master.

Lord, I allowed myself to be hypnotised or acted as a vehicle for Satan to use and placed myself under the dominion of Satan. I renounce this and repent of allowing this and give the control of all my life back to Jesus.

These are either pre-conversion or post conversion. If pre-conversion they are all broken at calvary. This declaration of their being broken at Calvary, needs to be made and the demons enforcing these curses told to go in Jesus Name.

Masonic curses are a result of contracts with or vows made with Satan by ancestors and need to be renounced. This renouncing also applies to contracts with Satan or vows to Satan made over you personally either by yourself or others.

After conversion, curses bounce off Christians who have Jesus as Lord of all their life.

Prov 26:2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

A curse cannot affect you unless you have allowed it to do so through sin or not giving an area to Jesus to be lord of. Curses that can attack you are those that you have allowed as a result negative speech about yourself or in areas you are sinning and will not repent of the sin. A prayer to cover curses is as follow:

Satan! I now belong to Jesus and I renounce every contract or vow or other arrangement or promise I have or others have made with you that affect me or my descendants in any way. If I have accepted anything from you I give it to Jesus to deal with. If I have given you anything I give it to Jesus to deal with. As Jesus is my Lord I declare you no longer have any rights over me or my descendants so in Jesus Name I break every curse, contract, vow or similar arrangement made by myself or another over me and my descendants.

I declare all other curses were broken at calvary and if I have caused a curse on myself I ask you to show me what I have done wrong. I repent now for it Lord and declare:

In Jesus’ Name I command arguments, theories, reasonings, proud and lofty thoughts, vain imaginations, weariness, heaviness, oppression, fear, doubt, unbelief, rebellion, confusion, disorder, distraction, lying and deceiving spirits and anything in me that sets itself up against Jesus and the true knowledge of God in me to go immediately in Jesus’ Name to the abyss. Lord, I ask for the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

In Jesus’ Name I command anything that binds me, encloses me, covers me or blinds me in any way to be broken or removed and the demons enforcing these to go immediately to the abyss.

Satan, in Jesus’ Name you must go from all these areas along with all the demons enforcing these curses. In Jesus’ Name I command complete healing and restoration of any damage Satan has done to me in these areas and ask you holy spirit to take their place. Amen

Satan, you have done things to me without my consent. I did not agree to them and do not want them now. In Jesus’ Name I command you to take all you did to me out of me and away from me along with any walls you built in me as well as anything around me covering me, blinding me, or binding me. I command you in Jesus’ Name to remove along with you the walls you have placed in me, the demons hiding behind the walls that were in me and all of the consequences of the actions of any of these demons in me.

Father I am sorry for anything I have done wrong in these areas to allow these walls to form and for not looking to you for help in dealing with the events that caused them.

Lord Jesus, I want you to be Lord of my life. I give it to all You, as well as anything that stands between You and me. Show me these things Lord that separate us so I can deal with them as you want me to deal with them. I want to do Your will in all I do Lord.

I give You myself, my purposes, plans, desires, hopes, ministry - everything I seek to do, have done or will do or be in this life you have given me. I want to do only what You want me to do and be what You want me to be. I want to be a faithful servant, steward and citizen of Your kingdom. I give You all that I once thought to be important, but were actually against Your will, for You to show me so i can repent of it and do Your will as You desire. I give You my worship, as my life is my worship to You, and I also give You my prayer life as that is also part of worship. I want to be a faithful citizen and servant of Your Kingdom. I repent of anything I have done wrong in these areas.

I also repent of anything that hinders intimacy with You, learning of You, and hearing from You, and from correctly worshipping You, Father and Holy Spirit.

Lord, I repent of rebelling against authority you have placed over me or of not using properly any authority you have given me as I want to use correctly any authority you have delegated to me and obey those you have allowed to be in authority over me.

Lord, I repent of any word I have spoken, thought I have had or action I have done that was wrong or anything I accepted that was wrong, in word, thought or action, because I did not resist it as I should have.

Lord, I have emotions and attitudes in me I don’t know about because they are ungodly and I have suppressed them. I give them to You and repent of them and of not taking them to You. I forgive all who have offended me in a way that resulted in these wrong attitudes Lord and also forgive myself and repent of any hidden unforgiveness and bitterness, root of bitterness and other wrong attitudes in me that I have suppressed because these were ungodly or I could not face them and the pain that would result.

Lord, I know I have worth and am acceptable, not because of what I have done, or because of what people think of me, but because Jesus died for me, and I am acceptable to You as I am and not as I think I should be. Father, I thank you that you have planned my life so I can be like Jesus and You have provided all I need to live and do this.

Lord, I want my esteem to be based on what You think of me.
My value, because of the value You place on me
My self-acceptance to be because I am accepted by You.

I repent of getting my self-esteem, worth or value through other things or through my personal achievements.

Lord, Since shame, guilt and condemnation were dealt with at Calvary along with all my sins, I know that when shame, guilt or condemnation occur, these are now from Satan and I will cast them out in Jesus Name and ask The Holy Spirit to take their place. I also repent of any wrong attitudes toward failure as these failures happen because I am not perfect. I know You accept me as I am and not as I think I should be and all You require of me is to repent and then to keep trying to obey you.

Lord, I also reject all the works of the devil and his kingdom as I want only to do Your works in all things and to serve You alone and others as You direct. I am sorry for having done the things of Satan, whether I knew of them or not and will try not to do them in the future as I want to do only what you want me to do.

Lord, if there is anything in me that is not right or not in accordance with Your will, I reject it. I want to do Your Will as well as know and understand your teachings and I know you have promised I will know these if I truly desire to do this.

Lord, I am sorry for what I have done wrong in all the areas of my life and will try to do what You want me to. I know I am not to look at past failures but only at what You have done in my life and I repent of not doing this.

Lord, I give You all the above areas. I also now give You all the events and circumstances that led to the wrong attitudes and emotions I have or have had in these areas as well as all the resultant consequences of these events and circumstances as I want You to be Lord of every area of my life. I want to think and behave as You want me to.

Satan, you no longer have a right to work in these areas as I have given them to Jesus, so in Jesus’ Name go the abyss

In Jesus’ Name I command complete healing and restoration of all the damage Satan did to me: healing of the wounded spirit, the heart of flesh and the sound mind as well as and integration of every part of my being and personality .

Lord, I don’t believe I need to pray some of these prayers, but You are my Lord and as an act of worship and submission to Your Lordship I will pray the ones the Holy Spirit tells me to do. Forgive me for any wrong attitudes I have in regards to deliverance and praying these prayers, as I want You to be Lord over every area of my life.

Satan, you no longer have a right to work in these areas as I have given them to Jesus, so in Jesus’ Name go to the abyss and take all you put on me or in me with you.

In Jesus’ Name I command complete healing and restoration of all the damage Satan did to me and to my wounded spirit, ‘heart of flesh’ and the sound mind promised to all who follow Jesus as well as integration of every part of my being and personality .
