Not believing in a personal Holy Spirit

Lord, I was taught The Holy Spirit was not a personal Spirit so that He was not relevant or could not talk to me or guide me personally. I repent of that. I am sorry Holy Spirit for this wrong attitude towards you and for the things I did as a result of them. I thank you that you are a person and that I can walk and talk with you and hear you and that you empower me to do the work of Jesus and guide me in my life so I can be a ‘son of God’ because I am led by you in all I do.

Hearing The Holy Spirit

Lord, I want to hear The Holy Spirit so I can do Your Will and be guided as to how to be a follower of You. I give this desire to You and am sorry for anything I have done wrong in this area to stop me hearing The Holy Spirit.

In Jesus’ Name I command any demons who are blocking me from hearing the truths The father, Jesus or The Holy Spirit want me to hear and understand to go immediately to the abyss. I ask You, Holy Spirit, to take their place.

Wrong Ceremonies, etc.

Lord, I reject all contracts, arrangements, agreements or similar things that I made with Satan either knowingly or unknowingly as well as any incorrect praise, worship, adoration or similar acts I have done. I repent of wrong vows, promises, prayers, worship, practices, rituals, ceremonies or similar practices as I want to worship You only and to do so in Spirit and in Truth.

I have given these areas to Jesus Satan so in Jesus Name Satan I command that you must no longer use anything I did in these areas against me and command the demons enforcing them to go to the abyss in Jesus Name and ask you Holy Spirit to take their place.

Prayerlessness

I am sorry Lord for not spending more time with You conversing with You in prayer and listening to what You have to say to me. I know You love to spend time with me, and I will try to be more faithful in this area in the future. I also ask you to show me why I do this so I can deal with it.

Study of The Bible

Lord, I give You my understanding of the Bible and Your teachings. I want to understand these as I should and not as others try and tell me I should understand them. I am sorry for the times I took Your Bible for granted or did not study it as I should, as I want now to understand and use it as You want me to.

Lord, You have said You would put Your Law in my heart and write it in my spirit and give understanding of it to all who would seek it (Jn7:17). I want this Lord, and I am sorry for anything I have done wrong to hinder this in my life.

Lack of Thankfulness or Satisfaction with what God has Allowed to Happen to You

Lord, I am sorry for the times I have been ungrateful, complaining, or thankless, or for the times I have shown dissatisfaction toward You in any other way. I have not appreciated the good You were doing in these workings for me that resulted in a wrong attitude in me. I am sorry Lord. I declare Your ways are perfect, and I ask You to help me appreciate Your work in my life and to see the Love you have for me behind the things that you let happen to me, in the trials or experiences you put me through so that I will become like You.

Appreciation of the things of God

Lord, grant me your understanding of Beauty and Love so I see your world and myself as you see them and not as Satan wants me to see them. I am sorry I have not appreciated things as they are and will try now to appreciate things the way you see them.

Lack of Empathy and Compassion in Relationships

Indifference is not caring about something. Apathy is knowing you need to do something but are not interested in doing it. Both are a lack of God’s Love to others and are a form of disobedience. Anything not of love is sin.

Lord, I am sorry for the times I was too lazy, apathetic, or indifferent to do Your will or meet the needs of people you sent me to help or serve and as a result I did not bother to show Your love or compassion to them . Lord, I also give You the way I relate to You and love You, as well as the way I relate to others and to myself. I want to relate as You want me to relate to You, other people and myself and to love people as You love them. I am sorry for the wrong ways I have done this in the past. I want to love and relate to others and myself as You want me to.

Laziness

Lord I have this laziness in me I cannot get rid of. It is probably depression and low self-esteem or even selfishness. I ask you to show me Lord what I need to deal with to remove it as I want to do your work and not just laze around afraid to do anything or too selfish to try and help others. I repent Lord so help me in this please.

Pride in Ministry or Other Wrong Things

Lord, at times I have had pride in ministry, gifts, achievements, and abilities and I have obtained my self-esteem and worth from them. I realize these were wrong reasons and I am sorry. I want only for people to see Jesus, for my promotion to be what You want it to be and for my worth, esteem, and value to be because of my relationship to You. So I give these all to You, Lord.

Gifts and Abilities

Lord, I give You my gifts and abilities to use as You will. I am sorry for my wrong use of them. I want to use them as You want me to.

Idols

Lord, I have had many idols and may still have some in my life, which I do not know of. I give these all to You and ask You to show me any idols in my life so I can remove them. I want to worship You alone and no one, or anything else. I am sorry for this wrong worship and I give these areas to You to remove from my life.

Lord, I repent of anything that prevents intimacy with You, The Father and The Holy Spirit, or that prevents me from learning the Truths of The Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit or from hearing the guidance of The Holy Spirit, or from serving You, or from worshipping, praising and adoring You correctly, or from communicating with You in any other way correctly. I am sorry for these wrong things Lord, as I want nothing to be between You and me. Any thing that breaks intimacy with you I give to You.

Casting out prayers to say if any of the prayers in this section are said.

Satan, you no longer have a right to work in these areas as I have given them to Jesus, so in Jesus’ Name go to the abyss and take all you put on me or in me with you.

In Jesus’ Name I command complete healing and restoration of all the damage Satan did to me and to my wounded spirit, ‘heart of flesh’ and the sound mind promised to all who follow Jesus as well as integration of every part of my being and personality .

I ask You Jesus to fill me afresh by The Holy Spirit.
