The Word (Bible) - giving us understanding of how a scripture applies to us (demons can also give understanding of scripture but do not tell us how to apply it correctly - usually taking scripture out of context, twisting it or quoting it incorrectly trying to make us feel guilty and unacceptable by God through giving it a meaning it was not meant to have and by this perverting our knowledge of the Bible).

Through teaching us and giving us understanding of things as we meditate on what He teaches us.

The Holy spiritual will tell you something that will require faith in your hearing Him correctly to go and obey it. Satan will stir up reason in you to question that what you heard was correct and through that talk you out of doing what the Holy spirit wanted you to do so you miss doing God’s Will for you.

You need to trust the gift God has given your or you will not be able to be ‘led by The Holy Spirit’ as you should be and so will miss out at times doing God’s Will.

A word of caution! Demons also speak in these last three ways but it causes fear or uncertainty when they do and cannot imitate the peace of God in you unless you have corrupted your conscience so that you can no longer tell the difference between their attempts to imitate God’s peace and God’s actual Peace, itself.

If you desire something more than you should, demons can give you what you want, even though it is against God’s Will for you, and you will have peace because you have lusted after the object wrongly. Usually this occurs with things that are not wrong in themselves, but with those things that the Bible is silent about as to their appropriateness for Christians to pursue.

Emotion also can cloud our understanding of The Spirit’s leading, as our own desires can influence what we hear. Thus, it is needful to give all our problems to Jesus so they do not cause us worry or stress in order for us to hear the guidance of The Holy Spirit correctly.

Never react but take things to The Holy Ghost to advise you on them Satan cannot use past conditions of you to control you and The Holy Ghost can guide you to overcome them but to completely get rid of these wronged attitudes, habits and reactions really needs deliverance.

You demonstrate that you are a child of God as you let The Holy Spirit guide you in your daily life. There are many areas in which God has plainly made His Will known, and these absolutes (things you must do) are known from studying The Bible. Then, there are the grey areas, and it is in these areas of uncertainty that The Holy Spirit must guide you to know God’s Will. When you do not know what to do about something ask him what to do. If you do not know how to pray about something or what to pray about something then ask Him to pray for you. (Romans 8:26,27)

Why do we not ask The Holy Spirit more things? Satan has conditioned the world to reason first and ask God second. Each day should be a continual dialogue between yourself and The Holy Spirit. Remember, Jesus said that The Holy Spirit will guide us into all Truth. So whenever we need His help we can just ask Him. If He does not answer, then you know it is not the time to know the information you sought or you have asked the wrong questions.

You are never alone because The Holy Spirit is in you. He is always there to talk with you and listen to you and you can hold a conversation with Him in your mind any time you want.

Through what He says in His Bible (where possible, everything must be taken back to the principles in God’s Bible.

Godly counsel (which includes Holy Ghost-inspired prophecy.)

Current circumstances (if the door is not open to do the action, don’t push it open. Let God open it).

Answered prayer (but be careful as the devil also answers prayer and may provide his answer first in order to try to replace God’s.)

The witness of peace in your spirit over the decision.

The last is the most important for those who are citizens of The Kingdom. The Holy Spirit will contend with your spirit and will not give you peace while you are being disobedient or planning to be disobedient.

All of the above ways are still subject to the witness of peace in your heart as to the event and as to what you asked or what was advised to you. It is very important to discern the spirit behind these as Satan can appear as an angel of God and try to mislead you. When he tries to mislead you, there will be fear and not peace in what you see.

How does one handle these five guidelines? You place them in storage in a mental pigeonhole for future reference unless there is a warning, in which case, you act on the warning.

There is a warning about these guidelines - If you desire something excessively, Satan can give you an answer in one of these ways. Because you desire it so much, you cannot hear God’s Spirit and you will have peace when you should not. To avoid this, you must not covet something so that it becomes an idol as then Satan can mislead you concerning it.

Lord, I want to hear The Holy Spirit so I can do Your Will and be guided to be Your follower and son/daughter by adoption. I give this desire to You and am sorry for anything I have done wrong in this area.

In Jesus’ Name I command any demons that are blocking me from hearing and understanding the truths The Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit want me to hear and understand to go immediately to the abyss. I ask You, Holy Spirit, to take their place.

Unless The Holy Spirit or Satan actually appear to you, they can only talk to you in your mind. When they are speaking it is as if they are your own thoughts or that you are talking to yourself. People often mistake this for a disorder as if there are apparently two personalities in them when demons are there speaking audibly in your mind. Also when The Holy Spirit is speaking, they usually think it is their own thoughts.

If it is not our thoughts then it is either The Holy Spirit or Satan. You can actually hold a conversation with the Holy Spirit or the demons representing Satan and ask them questions and they will answer if appropriate. Only answers from The Holy Spirit are 100% truthful. Demons will answer in a way that furthers their purposes for you.

You will need to silence your mind. You may have trouble hearing Him (The Holy Spirit) especially if you are in a place full of distractions or in a place where Satan rules. Remember, The Holy Spirit, has a still, small (quiet) voice.

He will place an impression, picture, or thought in your mind, give you an emotion, or even speak to you in an audible voice. You will know it is from Him as it will not cause you to fear. He may speak in other ways than these, but these are the normal ways. You may feel a check in your spirit which is a ‘no’. If He does not reply it is also a ‘no’, so you ask Him the reason why He said no as He may tell you and you may find out more by this than by the answer you wanted.

The answer He gives will line up with The Bible, and you will have peace in your heart over it. Remember, God will not contradict His Word.

Remember that Satan will try and cause you doubt about what you are hearing then cause you to reason that it is wrong or impossible so that you believe you are not hearing correctly. Or at times Satan will block you hearing The Holy Spirit so you need to cast him out and stop him doing this and ask again. If you do not hear from The Holy Spirit, ask the following:

Are you in a place in which Satan rules so that the spiritual atmosphere is blocking The Holy Spirit?

Are you in sin and do you need to deal with it using the five points?

Are you to ask this particular question of The Holy Spirit?

If you do not get an answer, it may not be the time to ask

It may not be the time to receive the answer

It may not be an appropriate question to ask

Are you to command demons that are blocking you from hearing the Holy Spirit to leave in Jesus’ Name?

Do you really want to hear the answer?

Are you seriously listening or just going through the motions of listening

The Holy Spirit is your Companion in this life, so it is necessary to be in continual communication with Him as He helps you to navigate the traps of Satan and do the Will of God.The Holy Spirit and the Five Steps

Whenever you have a problem, the first thing you should do is see if the Bible has the solution to it.

If it is not, see if the "Guidelines to Knowing God’s Will" will help. If this does not help either, ask The Holy Spirit what to do.

If it is temptation, then ask Holy Spirit if it is an area you need deliverance from.

If you do not need deliverance then tell the demons to go to the abyss in Jesus’ Name.

Be always sure to get the basic (root) cause of the event or sin as this is what you deal with when using the framework of the Five Steps.

Unless it is an emergency you are trained to react in whenever anything happens do not react. Stop and ask Holy Spirit what to do.

Get into the habit of asking Him about things and problems and listening to His advice before you comment on anything. He promises to guide you into all truth and not just spiritual truth. Learn to listen as you do your daily chores and activities and He will speak to you about things you need to know and show you how to do t hem better. Always walk around with one ear listening to The Holy Spirit.

Seek to be always in a correct relationship with Jesus so you do not block hearing The Holy Spirit.

Satan cannot make you do anything you do not agree to do. He has to deceive you into agreeing with what he wants you to do. So, the first line of defence is to reject what he offers. When you are attacked ask The Holy Spirit if you are being attacked from within you or outside of you. It attacked from within you then deliverance is needed. If attacked from outside of you then cast it out in Jesus Name to the abyss.

If you are attacked in an area often or have a weakness you are having trouble overcoming then you probably have a need for deliverance in that area.

When you are tempted and feel you need deliverance use the following framework (The Five Steps to freedom):

Give the sin, area of moral weakness, circumstance, problem, event or situation to Jesus to be lord of,

Forgive all who have offended you including yourself, repent of unforgiveness, bitterness, root of bitterness any wrong emotions or attitudes to others and also of any sins you are bringing to Jesus,

Tell Satan to go in Jesus’ Name as he no longer has a right to these areas as they now belong to Jesus,

In Jesus Name command healing and restoration of all the damage Satan did to you,

Ask Jesus to send The Holy Spirit to fill you replacing all the demons

If there is no need for deliverance then tell any demon attacking you that you belong to Jesus and to go to the abyss in Jesus’ Name then ask The Holy Spirit to take their place.

Any emotion, altitude or feeling that is negative is not from God but is either a suggestion from a demon or a demon playing on hunts in you.

Accordingly you will either cast out a demon from inside you using the five steps or command an external demon to leave using steps 3 to 5 of the five steps.

Whenever I get any wrong thought sensation, feeling or emotion, I command the demons behind it to leave and go to the abyss in Jesus’ Name.

If the thought is from God, you obey it.

If the thought is from you ensure it is given to God or dealt with as He tells you to. It may also be a need for deliverance in that area.

If the thought is from Satan, reject it after determining if either deliverance is needed or just casting out of the demon is required then do what you need to cast Him to the Abyss in Jesus Name.

The key is to take the thought Capture. In other words the demon placing the thought in your mind is cast into the abyss in Jesus name and commanded to stay there.

Just resisting the thought does nothing. It is capturing the the source of it that removes the demon and the temptation.

We are citizens of The Kingdom of God and this does not change when we die and go to heaven so the relationship we have with The Holy Spirit on earth does not change. He continues to relate to us there how He related to us on earth and does there what He did on earth

Jesus is the head of the church but The Holy Spirit is the overseer directing the body (Church) on behalf of The Head, Jesus.

If all the body does what the brain directs each part of it to do then the body functions properly and does what it is suppose to do. Unfortunately all do not hear the brain as they should for three reasons:

They are not part of the body

They have been told the Holy Spirit is no longer able to be heard

They do not know her To hear The Holy Spirit

Sometimes a demon is blocking you hearing the Holy Spirit or you are not in a correct relationship with God so you do not hear him clearly.

There is also the problem of people believing they run a church and are its guide because they have a piece of paper from a bible college that says they are in charge of that church.

It is only as all the body hears The Holy Spirit will there be unity in the spirit and the work of Jesus be done.
