Preface

Matt 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

The Kingdom of God was pivotal to the life and teachings of Jesus and so should play an important part in the life and teachings of a Christian. Unfortunately most Christians do not understand their place in The Kingdom of God and how it affects them.

Salvation is a relationship with Jesus and The Father (Jn 17:3) of which citizenship in heaven is the position we are in when in a salvation relationship. It is this role of a citizen of The Kingdom of Heaven that we exhibit on earth as we demonstrate The Kingdom of God and its superiority over that of Satan’s kingdom.

A Prayer to Follow Jesus as Your Lord and Saviour

Are you a Christian? A follower of Jesus and a citizen of The Kingdom of God? Have you ever prayed anything like the ‘prayer of repentance’ below? If you have, write the date, if you can remember it, below this prayer or in your Bible. If you are uncertain or have not prayed a prayer like this and want to be sure you are a follower of Jesus, speak out this prayer softly then write the date below it. This prayer does not make you a Christian. Your heart attitude does that.

It is also helpful to write this date in the front of your Bible. Whenever Satan tries to tell you that you are not a Christian, point to the date written below this prayer, or in your Bible, as that was the date you prayed this prayer (or a similar one) and declared before people and the spirits in heaven and earth that you affirmed your faith in Jesus and Who He is, and desired to follow Him as a citizen of The Kingdom of The Father.

The prayer of Repentance

Father, I approach You through Jesus and I thank you I am able to come into Your presence only because of what He did at Calvary. I forgive all who have offended me, including myself and repent of any bitterness, root of bitterness or other wrong attitudes I have towards myself or anyone else. Help me to do this please.

I do not want what Satan offers me.
I do not want his demons.
I want to do what Jesus wants and to give everything, past, present and future to Him as my Lord.

I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life,
and in future I will try to do only what Jesus wants me to do.

I know all guilt , shame and condemnation were dealt with at Calvary and all my sins were forgiven there so that all you ask me is to do is to reject the things of your enemy, Satan, and to wholeheartedly try and obey you. I am not perfect so I know I will fail you at times but all you ask is for me to turn away from these wrong things and to keep trying to obey you.

In Jesus name I declare every curse of any type was broken at Calvary and that every demon enforcing any has to go to the abyss in Jesus Name.

Satan you no longer have a right to work in any areas of my life as it has been given to Jesus, so in Jesus’ Name be gone to the abyss.

In Jesus’ Name I command complete healing and restoration of every part of myself damaged by Satan.

I ask for restoration and the healing of the heart of flesh given to all who follow Jesus wholeheartedly as well as the healing of the wounded spirit and the restoration of the sound mind.

I ask You, Jesus, to fill me afresh with The Holy Spirit to replace the demons that have gone as well as any vacant areas in my soul..

Thank you Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Amen

How does one enter The Kingdom of God

The entrance to the Kingdom of God is through choosing to make Jesus Lord and God of your life and then living as a follower of His. If He is not your Lord He is not your King and you might not belong to His kingdom.

Salvation occurs because we believe Jesus is God, accept all He did at Calvary, obey Jesus Lord and thus belong to His Kingdom and no longer belong to the kingdom of His enemy.

Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

If Jesus is not your Lord it is probable you may not belong to The Kingdom of God and thus not have salvation.

This book is based on the assumption Jesus is Lord and you belong to His Kingdom. If you are not certain He is your Lord and you want Him to be then you need to pray the prayer in the front of this book (or something similar). The prayer does not make you a citizen of His Kingdom but the heart attitude behind the prayer does.

The Calling of A Christian

A Christian has a very high calling as they are called to a relationship with each person in the God of all the universe, the ruler of every living soul and the owner of everything.

They are called to be:

A citizen of The Kingdom of God

A servant of The King

An ambassadors for The King

A soldier for the King

A friend of The King's Son

A part of God's Family

Set apart for God's use and blessing

This multifaceted calling means a Christian relates to God in various ways, each with its own requirements and benefits.

This calling requires:

Commitment to The King

Obedience to The King

Service to The King

Love for The King

Thankfulness for what The King has done

A desire to relate to The King.

A desire to worship Him

As no man can serve two masters, a decision is needed either to serve The King (Jesus) or reject Him and thus serve Satan (and your own lusts). Anything else is fence sitting which equates to rejection of The King through indifference to His calling. You either serve The King whole heartedly or you serve His enemy through compromising The King's requirements of you.

Remember that there are no fence sitters in the spiritual as there is only one spiritual kingdom on earth and so there are no fences around it to sit on.

As you go through the rest off the manual remember your high calling to serve the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and that He desires to know you more and more intimately and relate to you as a friend and family, as well as your Ruler.
