A
summary of the command of Jesus
follows:
They
will go to all Nations and
witness to a risen Jesus
They
will preach repentance and
remission of sins in Jesus’
Name
They
will baptize them in the Name
of the Trinity
They
will teach them what Jesus
requires of them
They
are to love others as Jesus
loves them
They
will fellowship together and
remember Jesus and what He has done for them at Calvary when they eat
together
They
will show the following signs
promised by Jesus through those who believe in Him and have accepted
the authority
He has delegated to them
They
shall cast out demons (free
people from the bondages of The Kingdom of Satan).
They
shall speak in new tongues
(Speak in their own language but be understood by others in their own
language
as it was at the preaching on Pentecost)
They
shall capture serpents and
scorpions without being harmed (these also are names of devils)
Poisons
will not hurt them when
their enemies give these to them
They
shall heal the sick
The
will teach what citizenship of
The Kingdom means (disciple others) and demonstrate it by their life
These
are the marks that should be a
part of the Christian life.
Of
more interest is His statement
that if you believed in Whom He us you would cast out demons and heal
the
sick. So if you are not doing these two
things then you need to find out why. If
you believe in Whom Jesus is and the Authority He has, which He has
delegated
to you in regard to demons, you would be doing these things.
It is your responsibility to learn how to do these things and you will have no one else to blame if you do not make it to heaven because you did not search out how to do these things and you knew that you had to learn how to do these things..
