The Body of Christ
Jesus
works through His Body of believers on earth, His citizens of The
Kingdom of
God on earth and not through a church to denomination.
There may be an assembly of The Body in a
church but when they do the work of The Kingdom the church is
celebrated as
doing it and not The Kingdom.
This
confusion has occurred as people believe the church or denomination is
The
Kingdom of God on earth or represents The Kingdom.
As they do not work in The Unity of The
Spirit with other churches or denominations but pursue their own
programs
usually, then the unity of The Kingdom is not seen, only the individual
church
or denomination is seen.
The
leaders of these churches or denominations become ‘heroes’
and people follow
them and their teachings so they will be like them and supposedly more
‘Christlike’ or spiritual.
Where
they tell people to follow them and their teachings and not Jesus and
His
teachings, they become idols and do not represent The Kingdom,
promoting man
and his church or denomination.
Whatever
is done must point to Jesus and His Kingdom (Mat 6:33) and not to a
denomination or person. Have a website,
as long as Jesus is the subject and all points to Him and gives Him the
Glory
for all that happens.
We
are not to promote ministries or men but we promote Jesus and The Body. By promoting men we limit ministry to people
they
approve so that they may not go to the person Jesus desires them to go
to
because they are taught to follow a person and not Jesus.
Where
people claim territory for their church or denomination or declare it
is the
best in an area, they divide The Kingdom.
There is no denomination or church in The Kingdom.
Only the Body of believers who follow Jesus
wholeheartedly as their Lord in the unity The Holy Spirit provides.
When
you place boundaries on part of The Kingdom you stop The Body
ministering and
only promote those men who are ‘approved’.
These are often not the one God desires a person to be
ministered to but
assume they are because of their position in the denomination or
courses passed
at a university.
God
prepares people and calls them to minister for Him.
By man’s requirements being necessary many do
not minister or believe they can minister whom Jesus desires to
minister.
When
the denomination is of secondary importance to The Body, then The
Kingdom will
be seen and prosper. Until then it will be divided and run by man.
