How to say the deliverance
prayers
These prayers may be said quietly in your heart, except for the casting
out prayer, which can be whispered softly. It is your heart
attitude that is important and Jesus alone needs to know what your
heart’s attitude is as well as what you give to Him quietly
in your heart.
This is why a person can say the words of these prayers for you and all
you need to do is agree with them in your heart.
This prayer can also be said by yourself quietly in your mind, except
for the casting out prayers which must always be said
audibly. Even if only in a whisper that you alone can
hear. It is your heart attitude that is important and not
what you say or the volume with which you say it.
The authority of The Lord Jesus does not depend on the volume you
express it in. All we do is by faith declare it. It
is He who performs the action independent of anything we can do, apart
from its declaration.
Sometimes you may have a problem saying the prayers which is why it is
good to have someone with you in case you are not able to say
them. Their presence can also encourage you in the saying of
these prayers.
The Deliverance Prayers
Jesus said: “In my name you will cast out demons”
The first thing to do is to stop Satan interfering with the reading and
praying of prayers in this book as well as with the understanding of
things taught in this book.
In Jesus’ Name I forbid you Satan from interfering in any way
as these prayers are said or from hindering my understanding of what is
prayed and understanding the information in this book as it is read.
Preparation
Lord
I
believe that you have
delegated your authority over Satan and all his works to all who follow
you as Lord and that I, as a follower of you, also have this delegated
authority because of this delegation to your followers.
I
forgive all who have ever offended me or hurt me in any way.
Help me to do this fully Lord. I do this out of obedience to you Lord.
I repent of any wrong attitudes I have towards others or to myself as
well as of any bitterness, root of bitterness or self-pity I have had
or have towards myself.
I
repent of anything I have done wrong and ask you to help where
necessary to do this and to show me of what I need to repent that I do
not know I need to repent of. I repent of these now Lord
Jesus.
Suicide
and self-hate (low self-esteem, or similar)
Lord,
at times I wanted to die or have hated who I was or am. I
repent of these wrong thoughts and I am sorry for these wrong
attitudes. I embrace the life you have for me as it is an expression of
your love and is best for me.
I
also no longer hate myself because I realize you have allowed me to be
as I am, as it is best for me. And I now accept myself as I
am, and I am sorry I was so unappreciative of how you made me.
I
thank you that I have value, worth and esteem because of what you think
of me and not because of anything I have done and I repent of trying to
obtain my worth through what I did and not from the relationship I have
with you.
Rededication of life
I
give you all I am.
My
mind, soul, spirit, giftings, ministry, all I want to be, have been,
are and want to be, whether or not I realise it is in me, for you to
deal with as you desire too. I bow all I am to your Lordship precious
Jesus.
I
am sorry for the ways I have misused things in the past and will
wholeheartedly try to follow you as Lord in all I do! I know that all
my failings were dealt with at Calvary and that any guilt, shame and
condemnation I still have now comes from Satan. So I command
these all to go to The Throne of Judgment in Jesus’ Name and
ask you Holy Spirit to take their place. I know that all you
require of me is to wholeheartedly try to obey you and that if I do
this you will take care of the results of any failures and will use
these to mature me and make me more like you.
For the mind
In
Jesus’ Name
I command arguments, theories, reasonings, proud and lofty thoughts,
idle thoughts, day dreams, vain imaginations, fantasies and musings,
weariness, heaviness, oppression, fear, doubt, unbelief, rebellion,
confusion,
disorder, distraction, lying and deceiving spirits and anything in me
that sets itself up against Jesus and the true knowledge of God
– all to go immediately in Jesus’ Name to The
Throne of Judgment. I break the iron yoke of Satan and ask
you Jesus to replace it with your yoke. Lord, I ask for the
garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. I also ask you
Holy Spirit to fill me and to replace the demons that have left me.
The Seven Spirits
In
Jesus’ Name
I command the Spirit of Satan, Spirit of Error, Spirit of Confusion,
Spirit of Evil Counsel, Spirit of False Power, Spirit of Evil and False
Knowledge, The Spirit of Fear, the three types of religious spirits
(legalism, perfectionism, ritualism) as well as all demons associated
with these and all they did to me to go to The Throne of Judgment in
Jesus Name
In
Jesus’ Name I Command healing of all the demons did to me
especially my mind and all things associated with it and ask you Holy
Spirit to fill me and to take the place of all the demons and things
that have gone.
Things put on you by Satan
Satan!
You
placed things on me without my consent. I command you In
Jesus’ Name to remove them all as well as all the
consequences of them. Such as any walls, enclosures, anything
placed on or in me, around me or binding me, or anything you have done
to me else as well as any demons associated with them in any way either
in me, on me or out of me.
Soul
Ties (where there is sexual sin)
Anyone helping should pray these without asking if they apply to the
person as it is none of your business to know and you do not need to
know. Only Jesus needs to know. Just inform the
person this is part of the general prayers in this section and may not
necessarily apply to them. But it is better to say them just
in case they do.
Lord
Jesus I give you
every wrong relationship and inordinate affections I have
ever had, the ways I incorrectly expressed these relationships and the
ways I incorrectly handled these relationships and used my body in them.
In
Jesus’ Name I break every wrong soul tie I have. In
Jesus’ Name I command any demons that have used these soul
ties at any time or in any way to go to The Throne of Judgment. In
Jesus’ Name I command healing on each of these soul ties as
well as any other damage done in these areas by Satan to me and ask
you, Holy Spirit, to fill me and take their place.
In
Jesus’ Name I command impurity and uncleanness to go to The
Throne of Judgment and ask you Holy Spirit to fill me with Your purity
and cleanness.
Curses and contracts with
Satan
Satan!
I now
belong to Jesus and I renounce every contract, vow, other arrangement,
promise or anything similar I have ever made to you either knowingly or
unknowingly. If I have accepted anything from you I give it
to Jesus to deal with. If I have given you anything I give it
to Jesus to deal with. As Jesus is my Lord I declare you no
longer have any rights over me or my descendants, so in Jesus
Name’ I break every curse, contract, vow, similar arrangement
or anything made by another that gives you any authority over me or
either through me or directly over my descendants and family.
In
Jesus’ Name I declare all curses were broken at Calvary
including the curses over Adam and Eve, and if I have caused a curse on
myself or anyone else I break it in Jesus’ Name and ask you
to show me what I need to repent of in regard to these please Holy
Spirit.
In
Jesus’ Name I command any demons involved with these curses
to go to The Throne of Judgment and take all they did to me with
them. I ask you Holy Spirit to take the place of any demons
that have gone.
Other Things
God
has declared, Satan,
that you are not to place the consequences of the sins of the parents
or ancestors on their children. The iniquity of the parents
and ancestors is a part of this.
In
Jesus’ Name I command you, Satan, to remove these
consequences of the sins of the parents and ancestors, including the
iniquity associated with these as well as the results of any contract,
agreement, vow or arrangement of any type my parents or ancestors made
knowingly or unknowingly with you.
Lord
there are also things in me I do not know I need to give to you or I am
afraid to face the fact I have them in me or to admit I have
them. I give them to you now to be Lord of along with
anything else I have missed giving to you because I want you to be The
Lord of all my life!
Anything
in me not of you or your Kingdom, I give to you now Lord Jesus to deal
with on my behalf.
Casting out prayers
These at least need to be said audibly. Even if only
whispered for you alone to hear.
Satan,
I have given my
life and all I am as well as all the above areas, events, circumstances
and things to Jesus to be Lord of, along with their causes and
results. So you no longer have any right to these areas or
any part of my life.
In
Jesus’ Name I command you to go to The Throne of Judgment and
take all the consequences of your action with you. In Jesus’
Name I command healing and restoration on my whole person, the heart of
flesh healed, the wounded spirit healed, the soul and sound mind
restored, the emotions, memory, personality, all I am healed, restored
and integrated as one. I ask you Holy Spirit to fill my soul
completely replacing the demons that have gone and claiming the rest of
it for Jesus.
Thank
you Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit
Amen.
As you go through life you will need to deal with anything in you that
is negative, not of God or can lead to sin, such as:
Things
that The Holy Spirit calls to your attention
Attacks of Satan that were successful through your accepting what he
suggested
Past hurts and memories
Wrong attitudes and emotions
Any weaknesses or addictions you have
Any wrong desires or lusts
Wrong thoughts and imaginations
Anything you did against God’s Love
Any sins you commit or have committed. Remember to give the
area of the sin to Jesus unless The Holy Spirit brings a specific sin
to mind.
All sin is a result of accepting what Satan suggested to you to do or
say.
You deal with attempts by Satan tying to cause you to sin using The
Five Steps which you will need to memorise to be able to use
them. They are found near the front of this book and are
dealt with in more detail later on in this book.
The Five Steps are the way you attack Satan and at the same time free
yourself from the attacks of Satan and the things of his he has
persuaded you to accept.
Satan will try and make you believe you are not delivered by raising
many temptations you have been freed from. But these will no
longer cause you a problem because he is outside trying to get back in
and not inside controlling things. The Holy Spirit will tell you what
to do. The Five Steps should be used to defeat Satan and not
just casting off attacking demons, in case there are areas rising up
from deep within you that need to be dealt with.
The Holy Spirit will tell you whether you need to use The Five Steps to
deliver you from a demon in you or just the last three steps to deal
with an external demon.
After years of using The Five Steps to do
deliverance and stop attacks of Satan on me, I find I still
need to use them at times and they are my first attack on Satan when I
think I have an area of weakness in me.
