Keeping your Deliverance
To keep your deliverance you need to know your Bible, Hear the
Holy Spirit clearly (God’s guide and teacher to understanding and
applying The Bible), know how Satan attacks and how to defeat him (how
to deal with God’s and thus your enemy).
Bible study is your responsibility so it will not be covered
here. It is God’s instructions for living and relating to
others and has His requirements we have to obey to get to heaven.
So you need to know it very well.
You need to apply its lessons to your life. This is why The Holy
Spirit has been given by God to help you do this (Job 32:8, Jn 16:13).
How to Hear The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is your personal guide and teacher. He has
been given to help you in your life and role as a citizen of The
Kingdom of God. So it is important to be able to hear Him clearly.
Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the
Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he
shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he
speak: and he will shew you things to come. He will guide you into all truth and not
just spiritual truth.
If you cannot hear Him clearly, then you need to find out
why. A prayer like the following can be said to remove any demons
hindering you from hearing The Holy Spirit:
In Jesus’ Name I command any demon interfering with or blocking
my hearing The Holy Spirit to go to The Throne of Judgment and be dealt
with by Jesus. I ask you Holy Spirit to take their place.
Thank you Holy Spirit.
If you still cannot hear The Holy Spirit clearly, then ask why you
cannot hear Him. You may need to consult someone who is able to
hear The Holy Spirit if you still cannot hear Him.
It is important to be able to hear The Holy Spirit clearly as He is
your guide to live as Jesus desires you to live and to fight Satan as
Jesus desires you to fight Satan. Remember Rom. 8:14, that to be
an adopted child of The Father you need to be led in all things by The
Holy Spirit.
Preparatory Prayer
Lord, I want to hear The Holy Spirit
so I can do Your Will and be guided by Him to be your child. I
give this desire to You and I am sorry for anything I have done wrong
in this area of hearing You.
In Jesus’ Name I command any
demons that are blocking me from hearing and understanding the truths
The Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit want me to hear and understand,
to go immediately to the in Jesus’ Name to The Throne of Judgment
to be dealt with. I ask You, Holy Spirit, to take their place.
How You Hear Him
Unless The Holy Spirit or Satan actually appears to you, they can only
talk to you in your mind or place thoughts in it. When they are
speaking, it is as if they are your own thoughts or that you are
talking to yourself. People often mistake this for a disorder as
there are apparently two personalities in them when demons are speaking
audibly in their mind. Also, when The Holy Spirit is speaking,
they usually think it is their own thoughts. So you need to know
who is placing the thoughts or words in your mind.
If it is not your thoughts then it is either The Holy Spirit or Satan
placing them there. You can actually hold a conversation with the Holy
Spirit or the demons representing Satan and ask them questions and they
will answer. Only answers from The Holy Spirit are 100%
truthful. Demons will answer in a way that furthers their
purposes for you.
To hear The Holy Spirit you will need to silence your mind. You
may have trouble hearing Him (The Holy Spirit). Especially if you
are in a place full of distractions or in a place where Satan
rules. Remember, The Holy Spirit, has a still, small (quiet)
voice.
The Holy Spirit will place an impression, picture, or thought in your
mind, or even speak to you in an audible voice. You will know it
is from Him because it will not cause you to fear or do anything
wrong. He may speak in other ways than these. But these are
the normal ways. You may feel a check in your spirit which is a
‘no’. If He does not reply it is also a
‘no’. So you ask Him the reason why He said
‘no’ as He may tell you and you may find out more by this
answer than by any other answer He may give you.
The answer He gives you will line up with The Bible, and you will have
peace in your heart over it. Remember, God will not contradict
His Bible.
Remember that Satan will try and cause you doubt about what you are
hearing from The Holy Spirit. Then try to cause you to reason
that it is wrong or impossible, so that you believe you are not hearing
correctly. He will also at times place fear or other wrong
emotions, feelings or sensations in you to cause you to doubt
God’s Love, Control, Plans or Purposes for you, to take away your
trust in God and your joy in Jesus and the things He has for you.
This is done so that Satan can replace what The Holy Spirit has told
you with what Satan wants you to hear. Or to stop you doing
something God desires you to do for Him.
At times Satan will block you hearing The Holy Spirit so you need
to cast him out and stop him doing this and ask The Holy Spirit again
what you wanted to know. If you still do not hear from The Holy
Spirit, ask the following:
Is Satan blocking the answer (remember Daniel and the angel who was
delayed from giving Daniel God’s Answer)?
Are you in a place in which Satan rules
so that the spiritual atmosphere is blocking The Holy Spirit?
Are you in sin and not wanting to give up the sin and deal with it
using The Five Steps?
Are you to ask this particular question of The Holy Spirit?
If you do not get an answer:
It may not be the time to ask
It may not be the time to receive the answer
It may not be an appropriate question to ask
He also may not tell you so that Satan will also not know the answer.
Do you really want to hear the answer?
Are you seriously listening or just going through the motions of
listening?
The Holy Spirit is your companion in this life. So it is
necessary to be in continual communication with Him because He helps
you to navigate the traps of Satan and do the Will of God. Walk
as if one ear is always listening to Him.
Develop the habit of being led by The Holy Spirit in all things.
If you are led by The Holy Spirit, you will never argue, react or
assume anything. These are habits Satan desires you to have, as
he tries to train you to react first rather than ask God what to
do. This is so he can control your response to things and use
your response for his purposes.
This is why you always ask The Holy Spirit what to do so that you know
what God desires you to do in that situation.
Unless it is an emergency you are trained to react in, whenever
anything happens do not react or assume things. Stop and ask The
Holy Spirit what to do.
Get into the habit of asking Him about situations and problems and
listening to His advice before you comment on anything. He
promises to guide you into all truth and not just spiritual
truth. Learn to listen as you do your daily chores and activities
and He will speak to you about things you need to know. Always
walk around with one ear listening to The Holy Spirit.
Seek to be always in a right relationship with Jesus so you do not
block hearing The Holy Spirit.
There is a warning about hearing The Holy Spirit. If you desire
something excessively, Satan can give you an answer. Because you
desire it so much, you will not hear God’s Spirit and you will
have peace when you should not have it. To avoid this, you must
not covet something so that it becomes an idol as then Satan can
mislead you concerning it.
