Day of Rest, see Easter
Dead, Prayers for
We are told in Heb 9:27, that there is no waiting period for judgment.  You die and are judged.
We are told in Gal 6:7-8, that you are rewarded according to what you do.
We are told in 2 Cor 10:5, that no one can influence your rewards or punishments.
God does not answer prayers or actions to alter what happens to people after death.  He has decreed what is to happen in the Bible and cannot alter this so does not answer prayers made to change that in any way.
Because judgment is immediate after we die purgatory cannot exist.  It is also not mentioned in The Bible and contradicts scripture so is not correct.  So prayers for the people in purgatory, and indulgences, to reduce the time of people in purgatory spend there are also not answered by God as they cannot be answered.
These prayers, made to change the mind of God, imply God did not know what He was doing with these people after they died so He can change his mind as to their fate.  God had judged their fate correctly in the first place and who are you to ask him to now to make it incorrect and go against his own Bible.
Denominations and similar
Denominations and churches are not recognised by Jesus as they are not part of The Body and thus The kingdom of God.  The people in it may be but not the denomination itself.
The real problem is that denominations are man made and must preserve themself and to do so replace The Kingdom of God at times with what they have to do to do this preservation.   If they properly followed Jesus as a citizen of His Kingdom it would mean the end of denominations as they are now.  This would remove the power of many people who get self esteem from their position a denomination and they would then have to look to Jesus for any authority and empowerment.  This many cannot do as they do not realise who they are in Jesus and in that is perhaps the greater condemnation that they are not taught this properly in the denomination.
There are no denominations in heaven.  They are not in The Bible so why are they in existence?  God did not create them so who did?
Denying self
Denying self does not mean giving up tings you like but denying yourself things above what God has given you r told you that you can have.  God gives you all you need so to deny an of these is to deny God’s provision for you.  However, you are to deny yourself that which is not of The Kingdom or not given by God as the source of these is Satan.
So denying self really means to not accept that which Satan offers which will always be above what you really need and which will also lead you astray in some way from The Kingdom of God, even if only because you are desiring more than what God wants you to have.
This also does not mean to live like a hermit and not embrace 20th Century technology.  The technology is inanimate and has no life of itself to be evil or good.  It is what you make of it that matters and the world system that you are to separate from is that of Satan and his values and not that of technology.
If the technology brings into the family house values that are not of God then it needs to be controlled or removed and not blindly watched or listened too.
You have been given a brain to use and knowledge of what is wrong as well as The Holy Spirit to guide you and are required by God to use your brain to remove (through and act of your will) all that which is not of His Kingdom.  This is what you are to separate yourself from and not the technology God has allowed you to have.
You are also required to be a good steward of what God has given you and that also includes technology and its use so that you need to not waste things like water and electricity and should try to have these provided in the most economical and inexpensive way you can (within the guidelines of The Kingdom of God requires you to observe).
God does not mind you having water, electricity or a car if you use it properly or having television or radio if it is used to learn of  His things and not blindly listen to anything, most of which is inspired by Satan’s demons.
So take to Jesus all you see or do and let Him guide you into what is to be watched, listened to or how a thing is to done in the way He desires it to be done.
Died and food
When man was first created God told him what had been provided for him to eat.

Gen  1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Everything that was a herb,  bore seed or  fruit was given to man to eat.  Meat or fish was not in the diet, neither were dairy products.  There is no mention in Genesis, before the flood, of anything being cooked in any way.
After the flood, there was little of anything so a purely vegetarian diet was hard to maintain.  God then allowed them to eat animals, as there was insufficient vegetarian food for people to eat.
Gen 9:3-4  Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.   But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
Man was allowed to eat everything that lived but once again dairy products were not mentioned.
As the world degenerated more it became dangerous to eat some kinds of meat.  So when God gave the Mosaic Law to Israel He forbade the eating of certain types of animals.  We are now no longer under this law.  This means the dietary laws of this law no longer apply to us.
Jesus did not give us any new dietary rules and in the New Testament the only comments on diet that I can think of are to drink a little wine for the stomach and not to eat things that are strangled. The two comments I will make on these two things are that the wine of the New Testament was not as alcoholic as what we drink and that strangled things do not have the blood bled out of them so that all the diseases in the blood of the animal are still there when you cook it.
So what are we to make of all these dietary laws?
Before I draw a conclusion, I will make a comment that when you examine the eating mechanisms of carnivores, omnivores, herbivores and mankind the eating mechanism closest to that of man is that of herbivores and so mankind does not appear to be designed to eat meat.  Another comment is that our bodies were originally designed to process the diet of a herbivore so eating meat or dairy products appears to be foreign to its digestive mechanism.
It is to remembered that processed food and meat were luxuries and making, until very recently, were usually not only eaten on special occasions.
Frozen vegetables, white bread, canned foods, desserts and lollies including chocolate, are only relatively recent to the diets of most people and would not have been in the diet of the common person who mainly relied on salted or preserved meats and fresh vegetables and grains when they were available.
So what conclusion can be reached from this discussion on diet?
It appears man is designed to eat a vegetarian diet, with little or no meat, fish, dairy products, refined or processed foods, and little cooked food (herbivores graze and do not cook their food).
In conclusion, it is to be remembered that we are stewards of our body, so knowingly eating wrong types of food is sin and will lead to diseases of the body.
Remember as always to be guided by The Holy Spirit about what to do with things like diet and not by man.
Discipling

Deu.6:4–7, Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and
2 Tim 2:2, And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

God has a principle that you are to disciple others and train then to do the same with others.  Discipling is not just teaching.  It is taking the person in like a son or daughter to teach them all they need to know about the Christian life as well as how to live it in practical experience.
It is not training them to meet some denominational or church standard.  It is training them to live as a citizen of The kingdom of God!  This the church and denomination fails to do and wonders why they are so ineffective.
Instead of teaching them how to preach, teach and demonstrate The Kingdom of God they teach them how to be a denominational or church goer.  If they taught them as they should churches would explode as The Kingdom of God would be shown to be more superior anything Satan and His world could offer.  But while they teach them to meet the needs of a church or denomination they are not meeting the needs of The kingdom of God and churches must decline or stagnate.
Easter
Jesus could not have been crucified on a Saturday (The Sabbath) as that was a holy day so He had to have died on Friday or earlier.  The last supper  had to have been on Thursday night as He could not have been put to death on Saturday meaning Friday had to be the date of His death if it was before the Passover.
Now Jesus rose on the third day.  This day began art sunset Sunday so Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday night and the morning was Monday morning when they came to the empty tomb.  If he died Thursday then the day of resurrection was Saturday night.  Either way either Good Friday or Easter is celebrated on the wrong day.
Why did Jesus wait two days?  There were two holy days and for  those two days no one would have gone to the tomb so that it was no use having the resurrection on these two days. Monday was the first day anyone could go to the tomb.
Why is Sunday  called the first day of the week?  Man called Sunday the first day using the Sabbath of the old testament as the finishing date of the week.  Sunday takes the place of the Sabbath in The New Testament as the day of rest to focus on family and God.  This means the first day of our week is Monday, unless Jesus died on Thursday and rose early on Sunday morning in which case it would be the first day of the week.  There is a better case for Sunday being the seventh day than the first day as it fits in with God’s pattern of looking over the weeks events and focusing on Him and Family.
This would imply our day of rest is Sunday but we are under a new covenant and Paul says to some every day is the same ( a day to focus on The Lord) while to others it is one day a week (Sunday).  He then said it is up to you to decide what you believe.
So what day is the day of rest?  Whatever God tells you to do or allows you to have and at times this may be determined by your employment or government.
Ecumenicism
This can only deal with reconciling beliefs that are not in the Bible.  Accordingly the second test will need to be applied to these things to see if they are acceptable as a practice.  As they are not in The Bible they cannot be doctrine.
If should not need to be said that ecumenism does not apply to reconciling beliefs that are accepted by the Bible.  To accept beliefs the Bible does not accept is apostasy and can lose you your salvation if pursued and not repented of (Rev 3:5) unless you do not know they are wrong.
Ecumenicism in Summary
If it is in The Bible and both parties agree on what The Bible says then Ecumenicism is not necessary for fellowship to occur.
If the parties do not agree on the interpretation of a passage of The Bible in any area and their incorrect interpretation is deliberate then there cannot be fellowship and Ecumenicism is not possible.
If it is through ignorance that they interpret the Bible incorrectly then humbly show them The truths They need to know and see what they do with these truths.
If the Bible does not comment on the practice or belief and it does not fail the parts of the second test then it is a practice or belief that applies to that denomination or church that does not offend God and should not offend anyone else.  It may be necessary to reconcile with the other party for the purpose of fellowship but it does not need to be the subject of Ecumenicism but of accepting and understanding love.
Ecumenicism is not necessary if both parties obey The Bible.  If people reject any of The Bible you cannot have fellowship with them and ecumenism is not possible.  Ecumenicism with people who completely accept The Bible is not necessary and is really redundant and becomes something that is used to try and form a way to accept people who knowingly do not believe The Bible in an area so anyone involved in Ecumenicism needs to carefully consider what they are doing lest they lose their salvation.
God has no place for Ecumenicism neither should a Christian.

Evangelism and Love
To be saved and not desire others to be saved or not to go out and tell them what God has done for you and can do for them is not the type of Love God has.  God says The Holy Spirit will teach you all you need to do this so you have no excuse (Jn 16:13).
To not desire another to be saved or delivered as you have been is a selfish love and does not reflect the heart of God!
God cannot honour or promote a person who does not have on their heart what God has on His namely freeing the people from Satan and the ravages of Satan on them.  This is what is on His heart and it should be on the heart of every one who calls themselves a follower of Jesus.
Evangelistic Outreach
For 51 weeks of a year the churchgoer sits in the pew and excitedly waits for the evangelistic outreach week when someone who has been paid to come to their church will preach the Gospel.  The person has been trained and certified by the denomination so is authorised to preach the gospel in public.
This is, of course completely non–biblical and people wonder why so few are converted and follow Jesus as a result of this ‘special’ week.
They invite their neighbours and wonder why they do not come.  For 51 weeks of the year they do not mention Jesus to their neighbour who does not see anything different in their lifestyle to yours.  So the neighbour may come to avoid the nagging but usually passes up the invitation.  They are content and looking at the life of the Christian asking them to come to their church they can see nothing different.  So why should they bother changing their lifestyle.
As for the church, it is nothing to them as it has no relevance to them so why bother going to church anyway.  The club or TV is more interesting or relevant.
The invitation tot he evangelistic meeting is doomed from the start.  If the Christian had demonstrated the Kingdom and preached the love of Jesus, even if only by lifestyle then they wold have shown themselves to be different to the world that the neighbour lives in.
The bible says that we are to be ready to give every man a reason of the hope that is in us and not pay people to do it for us.  We are also to demonstrate The Kingdom of God in our life and love others with the same type of Love God has towards them.
Until the church does this they will not succeed in evangelism as they should.
Exclusivity
Any church or denomination that says they are the only true one are not part of The Body and so may need to carefully consider their beliefs lest they lose their salvation.  The fact they divide The Body by their affirmation of exclusivity shows they are not of Jesus or they would be one with The Body.  If this is done in ignorance then they have salvation if they try and please Jesus in all they do.  But if this is knowingly deliberate then they exclude themselves from The Body and possibly from salvation.  But then what they do needs to be examined using the two tests to ensure you correctly evaluate their practices in accordance with The Bible.

Mat_12:30, He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

Jesus also said that a house divided cannot stand and any church that seperates itself from The Body will end up in error and fall into the enemies camp.
Faith
How is faith developed and maintained?
Faith is encouraged through:

Reading The Bible and seeing what God has done in the past (Rom 10:17)
Through seeing God’s Kingdom in action working in you life and the lives of others (Mark 16:17-18)

These encourage you to have faith in what God promises in the future as you know He is and is still active in the world.
Many of the converts of the early church were gentiles and did not know the Old Testament so had little scripture background or scripture to read.  So how was their faith developed?
It was developed through seeing God at work in their life and the lives of others.  As the Kingdom of God manifested in and around them their faith was encouraged to believe more.
The essence of encouraging faith is to see that God is still an active, personal God and not someone distant who does little in your life.
Until The Kingdom of God is either demonstrated or tried to be demonstrated in the life of a person their faith cannot be complete as they do not believe in all that God asks them to believe in.  They will also not demonstrate The Kingdom in their life and do not do the work of a citizen of The Kingdom of God which is to remove the works of Satan and all he has done to people so that they can become whole in Jesus and serve Him as He desires them too!
Faith and the manifestation of The Kingdom cannot be separated.  So if you are not trying to manifest The Kingdom then you need to carefully examine your faith and see why not.
If you love God you will trust Him and His promises (have faith in Him) so if you have trouble with trusting God then examine your concept of His Love and as well as your love towards Him.  Perhaps you need healing and deliverance so you can trust a figure in authority and feel accepted by them as these fears will translate into how you also relate to God.
Fall, The
Anyone who does not believe in the ‘fall’, as described in Gen 3, removes the whole reason for Jesus coming to earth as a man and dying as well as our need for salvation.  If there is no fall, what do we need to be saved from or why do we need to be reconciled to God as well as redeemed by the death of Jesus. The New Testament is no longer necessary and every thing Jesus taught about salvation and His reason for dying is incorrect.
If you do not believe in the ‘fall’, you cannot use the Bible as it has to be grossly in error over Jesus, so you cannot know how to obtain a salvation as there is nothing we need To be saved from if the Fall did not occur.
It also means you need to find a mechanism requiring Jesus to come to earth and redeem you which may or not be different to that in The Bible but it cannot be one that involves Jesus and Calvary as removing the ‘fall’ negates the need for Calvary.  It also must be one that is not in The Bible as you cannot trust The Bible for anything if you do not believe in any part of it.
Genuflection and Bowing
This is done to what is believed to be the presence of Christ in the Altar or to a Bishop, Cardinal or Pope as a mark of respect for their earthly authority.
The former is out of worship to Jesus.  The latter is a carry over from the Middle ages recognising the administrative and legal authority of these positions.
The latter is not a spiritual matter so does not concern this discussion.
The former is a mark of respect and worship to Jesus so is acceptable to God.  It is from the heart of a person and not just their action so it is acceptable God.  The fact there is no need for an alter is irrelevant.
Gifts of The Holy Spirit
These are sought and taught without the person being matured through trials and suffering God uses to mature a person and prepare them for the ministry that the Gifts are then given to them to enable them to perform.
Gifts are given to enable you to minister and are rewards that go along with the greater service you are given when you show you can handle what God has given you already so that you are ready for the next stage of service and development in your Christian life.
Gifts are given by Jesus on behalf of The Father and not at the request or command of a person.  They are given for the purposes of The Kingdom of God and not to help a person be closer to Jesus or become more spiritual.
If you want to be closer to Jesus and more like Him then endure properly the trials he gives you and He will be able to entrust you with more service and the gifts that go with them.
Some people say the gifts of The Holy Spirit are no longer relevant or even given to the church these days.
They were given to the early Church to help them minister to each other.   If you do not use these gifts what then do you use to help and minister to each other.
All that is left is man’s methods of ministry which does not deal with spiritual things usually, unlike The Gifts of The Holy Spirit do. Because man’s methods are based on his reasonings they can be too easily guided by Satan so that they end up  not being Bible based so they can easily be lead people from the truth.
Giving to The Church or others
Tithing is not promoted by The New Testament.  It was codified for purposes of The Mosaic Law which no longer applies to us.
In Matt 6:33 we are told that God will provide all we need to live and serve Him if we seek to deepen the relationship we have with Him and serve Him as He desires us too on His behalf.
Why then do churches demand tithing (which no linger applies as The Mosaic Law no longer applies) and why do they need offerings anyway as God has promised to provide all their needs if they do His work.  Perhaps they are not doing His work or have added to what He desires them to do?
It is only when we do more than God desire us to that we need to ask for money.
Why do churches demand people give to them when God may want the person to give to another.
God is the one who tells you where to give what He has entrusted you to be steward of and willgive you what you need to give to others on His behalf.
Giving, Sacrificial
God promises to provide all our needs and this will include what you have to give to others on His behalf from that which He has given you to be as steward of.  Sacrificial giving is designed by Satan to remove from you something God wants you to use elsewhere.
God promises to provide all your needs and even if you do give ‘sacrificially’ your needs should still be provided for as God has promised that  you will always have what you need if you seek His purposes.  But then if you listen to His Spirit you will never have to give more than you should which means you will always have what you need to live and do His work.
Grace
Grace is God doing something for you when you do not know you need it and do not deserve it being done for you.
People need to understand Grace.  God has done everything for us  that needs to be done because of His Love for us.  Even though we do not deserve it He loves us so much that He provides for us even though we do not know we need it.
He has done every thing we need for us to serve Him as He desires us too as well as to be able to relate to Him as we should.  If He had not done so He would not be a God of Love.
He owns everything and it is out of His Love for us that He gives us what we need to serve Him and live!
His Grace has done everything.  He has prepared every thing we need. He has planned these things for us from before the creation of the world and all He asks is for you to walk in the path He has created for you and to do your side of the arrangement.
There is no need to ask for what we need to do His Will. Mat 6:33 states He will give us all we need to do His Will (because He is Gracious to us).
His Grace is sufficient for you and it is matured in your weakness and in your trials and suffering your faith is strengthened so He can give you more Grace!
Grace and the Law
In Acts 15 a dispute arose over whether it was necessary for the gentiles to follow the requirements of The Mosaic Law. The area of circumcision was the issue as to a Jew it was necessary for identification with the Jewish Religion and thus with God.  Verse 5 states it more clearly.

Act 15:5  But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

The counsel in Jerusalem deliberated and Peter stated that there was no difference between Jew and Gentile.

Act 15:8-9  And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; and put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Peter then stated that the Jews could not keep The Law so why should they expect the Gentiles to keep The Law.

Act 15:10-11  Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?  But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

The conclusion was sent to the Gentiles as follows:

Act 15:28-29  For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;  That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

The Gentiles were already doing what Jesus required and the above reply was a reinforcement to stay away from the religious practices of the day so they would not have Jesus identified with these practices.
God’s Grace has freed us from the burden of The Law!
The next passage to examine is as follows:

Col 2:14-16  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.  Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

The ordinances against us were contained in The Law as these were the only ones God had given to mankind at that time.  Jesus negated their effect on us at the cross so that we were no longer affected by the legal requirements contained in them.  As a result the dietary, religious and other requirements of the Law were no longer applicable to us as we are now under God’s Grace and He alone is our guide now in these things through His holy spirit (based on the principles revealed by Jesus in The Bible).
God’s Grace has removed The Law and its requirements from us.
Next the rules of men are examined as found in church and denominational guidelines as well as interpretations of The Bible which have no Biblical content to support them.

Col 2:20-22  Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,  (Touch not; taste not; handle not;  Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

The rules of man are not of eternal significance.  They may not be against The Bible but have no doctrinal standing. These rules of men will all pass away.  They actually result in legalism so that Grace is suppressed or done away with and the people placed in bondage of some degree.
These are usually made to maintain the denomination and its structure as well as any order it wants to impose on the member churches and often are not relevant to other denominations.
Grace is not a licence to sin but a reminder that Jesus has dealt with the consequences of sin so that we no longer have to kill innocent animals to die in our place or follow rules and regulations to be acceptable to God.  God’s Grace accepts us as we are and builds on that.
It is by His Grace we are able to be saved through faith and not anything we have to do except voluntarily accept Jesus for who He is as Lord and Saviour and then for what He has done and obey Him out of love and thankfulness.
Law, The Burden of The
Mat 11:28-30
This passage is as follows:

(KJV)  Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The burden Jesus was talking about was the law and that which Satan put on through it.  People struggled under the burden of it and Jesus was offering them a new way to relate to God based on is teachings (light) that would free them from this.  So Jesus was offering the life He offers to all based on God’s Grace and Love which is opposite to the burdens of The Law.
A part of this is the giving to Jesus of our problems of following Him (trials) so that we don’t carry them ourselves and so that they can be dealt with By Him on our behalf.
God’s Love
Gods Love is not conditional on what you do. It is complete and perfectly expressed to you in its fullness in spite of what you do.
God may not be able to fully Bless you as He desires but His love for you never varies,
He did not need to make you as He is complete in Himself but out of His love for you He has brought you into existence and gave you life, a purpose, a relationship with Him and Himself as your reward.
You need to do nothing except obey Him out of love for what He has done for you.
You could no more bring any thing into existence than you could give yourself life.
Salvation, the relationship you can Have with Him, Heaven, all He has prepared and makes possible for you to have. All has been prepared for you because of His love for you.  All He requires is faith in Him and loving obedience.
Any thing you can do will not cause these things. You can only receive them.
God’s Mercy
Gods Mercy is part of His Love.
He did not need to redeem us or send Jesus to explain clearly His requirements of us.
It is because of His Mercy He does not destroy us for rebelling against Him but is Gentle to us like a Father.
God’s  Mercy is part of His love and  Grace towards us.
Headship in Marriage
This states a man has spiritual authority over his wife.
This is incorrect.
In 1 Pet 3:1-6 a Christian woman has a non-Christian husband. His head is Satan.  Her head is Jesus.  To say she has to submit spiritually to her husband is to place her under Satan (his head) again. This is a travesty as having been freed from Satan is she to be placid back under his kingship?
The passage in Eph 5.22ff must agree with  this passage or the Bible will not agree and be in error and that just does not occur!
Holy Spirit is not a person
Some say The Holy Spirit is not a person but The Bible says He is and that He is necessary to:

Empower you (Acts 1:8)
Mark you as belonging to Jesus (Rom 8:16)
Teach you what you need to know (Job 32.:8, Jn 16.13)
Lead and guide you in your Christian walk (Rom 8:14)

Plus many other things.  If God is not doing this then who is.  It leaves only Satan.
Holy Water
What follows is an explanation from a Catholic Educational site of The use of Holy Water in the Catholic Church..

The holy water does not have magical powers – there is not place for magic in the Catholic Church. But it HAS spiritual benefits from the devotion of those who use it. To the ancients, washing with water could symbolize internal purity (cleansing of the spirit) because washing was used to obtain external purity (cleansing the body).
There are several references to the use of water in the Bible. The Jews used water to consecrate priests (Ex 29:4, Lv 8:6). Water was used before sacrifices were offered (Ex 30:18-19). In the Catholic Church, water is used to symbolize the washing of the feet of Christ (Jn 13:4-10). In the Mass, a little water is mixed with wine before the consecration in memory of the blood and water that flowed out of Jesus’ side at the Cross. The holy water, a sacramental, whose sprinkling or use reminds us of Baptism and a means of sanctification (Catechism Of The Catholic Church, 1668).
For those who object to the use of the holy water, as with other sacramentals and the sacraments themselves, the problems is that they do not think material things can be used to transfer grace or that they should not have any real part in worship. However, a rigorous believer of the Bible must then also believe in water or incense for ceremonial use.

It says there is no room for magic in Catholic belief then states it is a way of transferring Grace. We are told Grace and truth came through Jesus so the question is who or where is the Grace transferred from and how is it imparted to the water.
There is nothing wrong with the symbolic aspect of Holy water but when it starts to do Things God only is suppose to do then I would be concerned it is displacing Jesus. and would fail the second Test.
If the grace is transferred from God then holy water is not required to do thus.
I can accept the symbolism of holy water but if it is used to transfer Grace then it cannot be from God as He does not need to use Holy water so who is this Grace transferred from then?
Idolatry
What is defined as idolatry depends on the perspective of the person defining it and the reference they use as a basis to define it.
To the Christian, the only possible reference is The Bible and what it says about idolatry.
A brief definition is that an idol is any thing that in any way displaces the Lordship of Jesus in your heart.
Idolatry has some basic threads.:

The idol is worshipped
It takes your focus off Jesus and through this reduces His Authority, Glory or His workings in some way so as to rob Him of these in some way.
The idol is ascribed supernatural powers of some sort and treated as if it had a personality.  Idols do not have a spirit so cannot have the Holy Spirit in them which means a demon is behind any manifestation they do.
The idol gives us pleasure (sport, sex, alcohol or other coping mechanisms and addictions)

God may use an animate object but does not give them life in any way for them to be able to show human emotions or express the authority of God.
The problem with many symbols of The Roman Catholic Church is that they can all too easily become idols .

Incense, Use of

Incense, of course, the granulated or powered aromatic resin from various trees, when sprinkled on glowing embers in a censer or thurible, produces the familiar fragrant cloud of smoke. This fragrant smoke symbolizes prayer rising to God.sprinkled on glowing embers in a censer or thurible, produces the familiar fragrant cloud of smoke.

The problem with the use of incense to the non-Catholics is the fact that its use is both from pagan worship and Judaism.
However, the use of incense is based on the Bible, and can be found in Ps 141:2 and Rev 8:3-5.
Incense is also used symbolically in the book of Revelation to symbolise the prayers of Christians rising up before the Throne of God.
If it helps you to get closer to God then it is beneficial.  If it does anything else then it is of no use or may lead to idolatry.
Jesus was not divine or was not God
Some people believe that Jesus was not divine or was not God when He was born or lived on earth.
The Bible says Jesus was born and was God.  He never lost His Godliness but chose not to use His Godly attributes and was God when He died as well as after that.
If He was not God He could not have redeemed us. Infinite sin required an infinite sacrifice so Jesus Had to be God  (infinite) when He died for this redemption to occur.
Jesus said He was God so it you do not believe this then you cannot use His Bible as it says He is God and you also cannot believe what Jesus said as you  believe He is a liar.  You cannot use The Bible for the purposes of determining  salvation as what it says about salvation may not be true.
No matter how you modify The Bible to back up your beliefs you still cannot use it and will need to find another sacred book you can rely on as having no error.
Jesus was not a man
Some beliee also that Jesus was not a man.  This contradicts the Bible which says Jesus was a man and was tempted as we are.  This belief also contradicts the Historical records that refer to Jesus.
If you do no believe Jesus was a man you are saying the Bible has lied. You then cannot rely on the Bible as you do not know what other places of it are in error.
Kingdom of God
A Christian belongs to The Kingdom of God and should be demonstrating it teaching it and preaching it.  They should be showing its quality of love, freeing people from the kingdom of Satan and delivering them from the effects of Satan (Jn 13:34-35, Mark 16:17-18).  Any person, church or denomination not doing this is not doing the work of The Kingdom and may not belong to it.
Jesus said that those who believed in Him would be doing these things so if you are not doing these things you better find out why not and change.  You may not even be  Christian.
To  deliberately not love with the same type of love that God loves with or not destroy the works of Satan and be used to free people from the bondages of Satan is disobedience and will lose your Salvation (Rev 3:5)

Laws of The Land

Mar 12:17  And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s

You are not to defraud the government that God has allowed to be over you.  To do so deliberately  is ‘sin’.  If deliberately continued in you will lose your salvation (Rev 3:5).
What comes to mind are taxes, penalties duties and levies or whatever else the public administration God has allowed to be over you requires you to do or pay. You can defraud through not doing what is required of you as well as not paying what is required of you.
It goes unsaid that you do not do anything they ask that is against the Law of God (His Law of Love) as He is a higher authority than they are.
Liturgy
There is nothing wrong with a liturgy or a liturgical calender as long as it honours God only.  Honouring anyone else is idolatry.  To include people in it or feast days honouring them is to detract from Jesus, The Father and The Holy Spirit and is idolatry.
