God
is Love!
All He does is a
result of
His Love!
He did not need
to make
us. He is God and is complete in His
self. We can add nothing to who He is.
So why did He
make us? To
give Him pleasure.
He delights in
the
relationship we have with Him and does all He and to make us enjoy who
we are.
To help us be
what He
desires us to be like. He gives us tasks
to do that will mature us into the Character of Love He has. These maturing events can be categorised into
four types of activity.
God's
purpose for you.
1.
To
use you to
tell people what He has done for them and show them that they can have
a
personal relationship with Him with all the benefits of this
(evangelism).
2.
To
use you to
remove the damage Satan has done to them (deliverance).
3.
To
train and
support people to live in the way God requires them to live
(discipleship)
4.
to
stop His enemy
who is trying to hinder this restoration and deliverance process
(spiritual
warfare)
These should be
the
objectives of your life and your purposes should be to learn all that
you need
to be able to do these things to Jesus.
What ever we
suffer or
encounter in doing them has been designed by God for our best. SO in a sense if we desire what is best for
us. We will do these things. Not because
we will suffer if we do not do these things.
But because we Love God for what He has done for us.
Given
us Life
Done
all He cold to help us relate to Him
Keeps
us alive to enjoy the things He has planned for us
Makes
us more like Him so that we can understand Him better.
These four
purposes of God
for us show the following:
1.
Evangelism:
shows God’s love for them.
2.
Deliverance:
shows the authority of the kingdom.
3.
Discipleship:
demonstrates the kingdom's values.
4.
Spiritual
warfare: is used to expand the kingdom and to bring souls into The
Kingdom of
God.
Do you have on
your heart
what God has on His Heart?
He desires all
mankind to be
reconciled to Him.
You will only
have your
heart. If you love others in the way He
Loves them. You might not approve of
what others do. But they are still
children
of The Father that He sent Jesus to die.
So they could be restored to Him.
To deliberately
ignore the
lost and the needs of those around you that God desires you to meet
negates
your claim to be a Christian.
If you follow
Jesus you will
have on your heart what He has on His Heart and will do what ever He
asks you
to do to bring it to pass. He said:
If you love me, do what I ask you to do for me.
This is all He
requires of
you. In this obedience your love for
each member of The Trinity shown and your salvation is maintained.
Remember, you
are only ever
required to do what Jesus asks you to do.
Not what the denomination, Minister or another says. He will never ask you to do more than you are
able to and will prepare you to do this thing They asks you to do as
well as
have The Holy Spirit guide you in that so that you know what you need
to do.
So do not let
Satan torment
you by trying to make you believe you are not doing enough to Jesus. You are only required to please God and not
what Satan or another says and to please God you are only required to
do what
He asks you to do each day.
As you can see,
you have no
excuse for not doing what God asks you to do.
And when you die you will be judged on what you did with what
you knew
and not what others told you that you should be doing.
If you love God,
you will be
doing his work and obeying Him as best as you can.
All God requires of you is to wholeheartedly
try to do his will. God looks at the
heart. You may fail him.
But it is the attitude you have in your heart
as you try to do this thing that He looks at. And
not whether you succeeded or not.
