Guidelines for dealing with revival
If the revival is of God then no amount of praying against it will stop it.
If it is not of God then He will stop it
The people in the revival are there to try and get closer to God.
The preachers are there to try and help them do this.
They are doing what you desire to do so to speak against them is to unjustly criticise them.
So what are you to do?
If there is error all you can do is to show what the Bible says they are doing wrong. That is all you can do as God is their judge not you and to judge them is to show a lack of love towards them. If you love them you will show them what God says they are to do and help them anyway you can to do it. Remember we as fellow sinners are to correct in humility as an equal and not as a superior or their judge.
If there is no apparent error then you can only bind any demons trying to hijack the revival.
Stop the demons trying to control the revival in any way
Forbid them from blinding the minds of people to the truths of God that are being incorrectly dealt with in the revival (if any)
Ask The Holy Spirit to reveal any errors to those in charge of the revival and strengthen them to admit these errors and change them
Ask God to bless the people in the revival so that they find what they are looking (a closer relationship with Him)
Then you get on with life and leave it to Him until He tells you to do something about it.
If you believe the revival is wrong according to The Bible then pray for God’s timing to show it to the leaders and do not judge your fellow Christians as God alone is their judge.
If you believe they are wrong, go to the leaders. To judge them and do nothing about it is hypocrisy.
