The Kingdom of God

Psa 45:6 Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever:

In the beginning was God

He is a pure Spirit

Pure, Holy, undefiled, perfect and complete.

The Kingdom was there in its purest form

as God was there

It was pure, Holy, undefiled , perfect and complete

It existed as long as God had

and will exist as long as God does

of whom there is no beginning or end

Nothing else existed

Everything was perfect,

in complete harmony and unity.

The Kingdom expressed the fullness of God

As it was the purest expression of God

apart from Himself!

God then created angels

They were spirits like God

so could understand this spiritual Kingdom

A third of them rebelled and were defiled

As they were defiled

these fallen angels could not inhabit The Kingdom of God

So a place was created for them to inhabit.

Hell was made

Imperfection was in it

so this created place could not be in The Kingdom of God

As evil and rebellion was in it

The angels from this place could no longer enter The Kingdom of God

As it is too pure and holy for them to be there and polluite it

And nothing evil or defiling is allowed in The Kingdom (Rev 21:17).

For some reason, God was not happy with just fellowshipping with angels

and created a new people

and a new place for these people (Gen 1:1)

to live with Him in perfect harmony.

and for them to appreciate He and His creation

This new creation was also a reflection of The Kingdom

and thus of His Character and Nature! (Ps 19:1)

These new beings were not spirits like the angels

so could not see The Kingdom of God as it was spiritual

So God placed them in a creation

that expressed His Character and Nature

as well as His Spiritual Perfection.

We live in that creation which was designed to reflect

God;s Character, Nature and Kingdom,

all which are spiritual things.

This is why Jesus always emphasized spiritual things.

Once again evil entered His creation

His creation rejected their creator

and accpeted the rulership of the usurper

so God then needed to rescue us

Not for the purposes of heaven

but for the purposes of His Kingdom.

One day time will end

And this heaven and earth will be destroyed (2 Pet 3:10)

but the new heaven and earth are a new creation

which will be part of The Kingdom

and will exist for ever (Rev 21:1-8)!

All we will carry to this new Kingdom

is the relationships we had on earthwith people

and the relationship we have with God

of which Salvation is the most important one (Jn 17:3)

The current heaven is not part of The Kingdom of God

but is only a reflection of The true heaven which is to come

when this creation is no more

and is replaced with more perfect one

Which is pure and undefiled

and which can inhabitThe Kingdom of God!

and is part of the Kingdom of God

like the old creation was in its beginning

This means our rewards in heaven

are replaced with better ones in the new heaven and earth

as those of the old creation of which heaven is a part is destroyed.

All that enters this new heaven and earth is our spirit

and the relationships we have

Out true rewardis the relationship we have with Jesus and The Father (Gen 15:1)

and all that results from this relationship

This passes from the old heavento the new one as it is spiritual.

The flesh and blood of this creation cannot enter The Kingdom (1 Cor 15:50)

But we will be pure, undefiled spiritual beingsin our spiritual bodies

when the new heavens and earth are created

so will be able to enter them

The true Christian life is a preparation for The Eternal Kingdom

Which is why there is so much emphasis on holiness and The Kingdom

and emphasis on the spiritual and not the physical.

Heaven is not our reward

God is and His Kingdom is

which is an inseparable part of Him (Gen 15:1)

Only as we seek the King and His Kingdom’s benefit

will we receive the rewards of Himself and His Kingdom

A personal relationship with Jesus and The Father which is eternal life (Jn 17:3)

and as a by product receive rewards in heaven for the activities we did on earth

as we sought to serve our King and His Kingdom.

Heaven is not our Home! The Kingdom is and that is eternal.

We will live in The Kingdom and the New Heaven and Earth

That is not a tainted expression of The Kingdom

as the current heaven and earth are (Col 1:20).

Our citizenship is in the Kingdom

but the brethren meet in the current heaven (Col 1:20)

The real possessions of importance in this current earth and heaven are eternal souls

and Satan knows the battle is for theseand not possessions or territory.

Satan defines the world into territories

but The Kingdom of God is not bound by these

And is expressed where ever a citizen of The Kingdom is.

Satan know the battle is for souls so promotes a false spirituality and materialism

and tries to hide The Kingdom of God and its manifestation in this world

He is angry and bitter determined to prevent as many people as he is able too

from entering The Kingdom of God.

The kingdom is in the hearts of the people (Luke 17:21)

who seek to follow Jesus as King and seek the health of His Kingdom

This is why Satan has to attack these peopleto remove the evidence

of The Kingdom from earth

The focus of the person who seeks The Kingdom

is not heaven but The Will of The King

and thus the Will of The Kingdom.

They will enter heaven and stay there

until the fullness of The Kingdom comes

when this creation is removed

and a new perfect one replaces it.

As it is a spiritual Kingdom

we need to be led by The Holy Spirit in all things

so we will obey our King’s requirements and do His Will for us.

The Holy Spirit alone can interpret the guidelines of our King (Job 32:8, Jn 7:17, Jn 16:13)

and tell us personally what our King desires us to do

It is so important to be led by Him in all things

as only then are we an adopted child of The Father

and a citizen of His Kingdom.

This is why Jesus summarized The Sermon on The Mount

(The manifesto of The Kingdom) With Mat 6:33

as the attitude one needed to haveto enter The Kingdom of God and to stay in it!

as one can lose their citizenship through continued disobedience (Rev 3:5).

Mat 6:33 should be the objectives of all who truly seek for Jesus to be King

and who desire to spend eternity with HimIn The Kingdom of God

and as a consequence, in the old and new heaven.

These people will express the fullness of Jesus in their life

now, in this temporary creation and forever and beyond with God

in the new creation

Only as we understand and focus on the spiritual nature of The Kingdom

and its outworking in this creation

will this be possible (Col 3:1-3)
