The Wedding
Many, many thanks to Connie from Vanuatu Weddings for arranging the wedding. Maree I both agree that we could not have asked for a more perfect day. We were married at Rainbows End, Port Villa and the memories will last a lifetime. Connie made the the whole affair a simple and beautiful experience. Connie did a great job of the photography as you can see on some of these pages... Thanks Connie.

Fatumaru Lodge
We stayed at Fatumaru Lodge, 5 minutes by car out of Port Villa on the island of Efate.

Our gracious guests were Pascal and Patricia. The lodge was recently built and in excellent condition. Ours were the 2 adjoining rooms, bottom right. Yes, we stepped off our balcony onto the beach! The kids were most welcome and well catered for. Swimming pool, kayaks, Kiwi the friendly Golden Retriever, Pascal even took the boys and myself reef fishing in his tinnie. The rooms were air conditioned with a small kitchen private bathroom and a comfortable bed.
Words can't describe the fantastic time we all enjoyed, I hope the photos do... Thanks Pascal and Patricia.
Vanuatu
Vanuatu comprises of 87 islands forming a Y shaped archipelago approximately 2500kms and 4 hours by plane from Sydney, northwest of Australia. The ni-Vanuatu are the most friendly people and it was a pleasure to spend time with them. We really appreciated not being constantly hassled for money when in town or the markets and the bus service is second to none. It's nice to know you can go out for dinner, enjoy a few drinks and get home for $1.20 each. Even 10.30 on a Sunday night we left the restaurant, walked across the road and were on our way home 2 minutes later. Fantastic!
