I have a lifelong passion for art and art history.

The Australian landscape has a huge influence on my art practice. I try to express more than a traditional 'background, mid-ground and foreground' exploration of the land because to me, there are many aspects to landscape - memory, history, geology, geography, contours, aerial, micro and macro and literary observations.

The Element Doors
The Element Doors – Installation at The Gap State High School Library.
This series of four doors, named Water, Earth, Air and Fire, were painted in 2003 in acrylic and oil paint, and mixed media. I also engraved each stainless steel handle in contour lines. Three of the doors are used every day in the school Library. (Visitors also welcomed: The Gap State High School, Waterworks Road, The Gap, Brisbane.)

Sea Mosaic
This mosaic is also installed at The Gap State High School Library.
