How to see Joao de Deus ( John of God )?

His real name is Joao Teixeira De Faria. He will see and treat anyone free of charge on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 08.00 – 12.00 and 14.00 – 17.00 in place called Casa de Dom Inacio, his healing sanctuary. It is located at the end of Avenida Frontal, in a village of Abadiania, in the state of Goiana, central Brasil. On the main highway between Brasilia and Anapolis.

Thousands of people are being treated every day, you will see white-dressed crowds, if this is your first day just follow them. He has never refused to treat anyone!

An interesting orientation is on every Tuesday at 18.00 at the Casa, you may wish to attend if you arrive early, but it is not necessary.

Helpful, multilingual volunteers are everywhere in the Casa. You will be asked to join one of four lines: first-time line, second-time line, surgery line, or surgery-review line. You walk through 2 current rooms full of  meditating volunteers. In the second room you will see "John of God." An interpreter stands near him, so that your requests and  his instructions are clearly understood.

The lines move fast. John of God will operate on some straight away. Some will be sent for "invisible" surgery. However, although it is "invisible"  stitches have actually shown up on X-rays. Some will be told to come back.  Specific instructions about further attendance and treatment will be given to everyone.
