Outfits

Considering that these lists work best for second characters (a lot of the equipment is difficult to aquire for the level that wants to use it), I've decided to reduce the outfit lists to just the "Sanctified" and "Siphoned" versions. If you are playing a first time character, don't be afraid to ask for help in getting some of these items. I usually don't mind helping out and there are a few others who can be helpful as well. Also, please remember that these armor lists are primarily concerned with making sure you get the maximum benefit from levelling (ie. Max hp/mana/practices per level) and therefore don't necessarily represent the ultimate outfit you could be wearing at any particularly level with respect to AC, Hit, Dam, hp and mana bonuses.  If you want that, figure it out for yourselves :P

Notes:

  1. The outfits listed are for getting the maximum benefit from levelling up (i.e. Max Int, Wis, Con) and then worrying about moderately important stuff (i.e. Max Dex and highest possible dam, hp, mana bonuses) and finally the fairly trivial stuff (i.e. Max Str and highest possible AC and to hit, move bonuses). I won't add a buckler, body shield, shield, instrument or held item as the use of these is purely personal preference. If you do use one, you may be able to modify some other choices to get a better result.

  2. Each class has a primary attribute that is better than others. Unfortunately, you can only get a magical bonus of +4 in this attribute and so you can sometimes change items around to play to this difference. You can also change some items around to either give better hp and mana bonuses (for mages and priests mostly) or better hit and dam bonuses (for warriors and thieves mostly). In this way you can play to the strengths of your class.

  3. There are some really good weapons that give bonuses to your stats as well. As I can't tell what weapons you are going to be using (these lists are general purpose in as much as they apply fairly equally to all classes), you will probably be able to substitute in some better items based on what bonuses those weapons give you. I'll leave that up to you.
