The NORDIC BAND (based in Brisbane, Australia) can play and sing a selection of 12,000 tunes from 30 countries, and can arrange competitions as well (see picture above). The Festhouse instrumentation can be supplied, including keyboard, drums, accordion, saxophones, clarinets, trumpets, flugelhorns, souzaphone and guitars. The band can perform with any number of musicians from 1 to 10.
The band has performed at Twin Towns Services Club, Jupiters Casino, Surfers International Hotel, Miami Festhouse, Carlton Crest Hotel, Hilton International Hotel, Sheraton Hotel, Sheraton/Mirage Resort, Wynnum RSL, Coronation Motel, City Hall, Grandview Hotel, many clubs, restaurants, weddings and other functions.
The Nordic Band is one of the few bands in Australia that also plays Scandinavian Music.
For an added atmosphere and cabaret nights, there is a range of folkdance groups available with spectacular dancing in glorious costumes.
