      The Nocturnal Academy series follows the adventures of Alice Dibble, a 12-year-old girl about to move into high school. To her delight she is accepted into a prestigious private school in her home town, called the Nocturnal Academy. Alice hopes that this will get her away from the bullies of her primary school, and give her a fresh start. However the Nocturnal Academy is no ordinary school, and only after she is enrolled does she realise just how bizarre it is.
