      Marc, Vincent and Eloise arrived in Sydney. They rested up in Marc's harbourside house, and during the night Eloise tried to crack onto Marc. The next morning, Marc snuck out by himself to see what he could find out from his old acquaintance, Arthur Rochester. This proved to be a mistake, as Arthur became suspicious and sent his bodyguard, "Jade", to follow Marc. Marc realised he was being followed and confronted Jade in a nearby alley. Arthur's bodyguard turned and ran, and Marc pursued him, but lost him. It seemed as though Jade had vanished into thin air. From this encounter Marc concluded that Arthur and Jade were part of the mystery. That night, Marc, Eloise and Vincent travelled to Arthur's house to scope it out. They saw Arthur inside with Jade and two others. Eloise and Vincent immediately recognised Arthur's friends as the assassins they were looking for, but only Vincent charged in.Marc and Eloise were forced to follow and during the ensuing rumble, the assassin known as Razor was killed. However, Arthur, Jade and the Japanese girl, Lotus, managed to escape to the Dreaming. As Eloise was too badly beaten up, only Marc and Vincent could follow them across. On the other side, Marc and Vincent managed to track Arthur and his assassins, but when they finally caught up with them, Arthur, Jade and Lotus were waiting with what appeared to be an entire host of demons…
