Jaeger #28 – Psi Force Training Part 3

Marc gets into a rumble with Sandy’s attackers, some of whom are actually psykers. Sandy recovers consciousness enough to join in the fight and explore one of the soldiers’ minds. She discovers the full extent of Styner’s influence on his followers, and the dark secret behind Psitropine. Marc takes her to see Cassidy, who appears to have recovered from his earlier uncertainty. Unfortunately he refuses to believe them – until Sandy reveals that he has succumbed to Styner’s influence. Cassidy breaks out of the psionic hold and they agree to go down to the research centre together. Cassidy loses his temper with one of Styner’s stooges at the gate and charges in ahead, using his TK to rip out the complex’s reinforced doors. He destroys all the trapped brains and kills Dr Sturgess. Meanwhile, Styner discovers the carnage at the hospital and takes over the minds of cadets Brian and Sophie, to use them as protection. He follows Cassidy, Marc and Sandy underground.
