Jaeger #9 - The PSI part 3

It began with our hero in Stormwalker's lair, struggling against the black sword the evil wizard had just driven into his stomach. A demon trapped inside the sword, named Soul Reaver, tried to devour Marc, but was forced back by the Vampire God Akhkharu. When the Hunter woke, he took Stormwalker on in a fierce hand to hand battle, and managed to throw him out of a window. Unfortunately, he failed to kill the dark mage, and he escaped to wreak further havoc. Marc, his new friend Sandy Yau, and little Sammy Cooper returned to the Psionic Sciences Institute. There they parted company, promising to keep in touch. Wanting his test-results, Marc visited Dr Madeleine Carrington, but before she could explain the situation, Colonel Frank Cassidy marched into the laboratory and took custody of him. The Hunter was convinced that the Colonel wanted to finish what he started back in Jaeger #4. But then Cassidy informed him that he no longer wanted to kill him. In return for information on the Nethermind, the Colonel would give Marc his test-results. However, when Marc tried to reveal what he knew, a subconscious mind-block prevented him from speaking. Cassidy was furious, and threw Marc out of his office. But he made sure to arrange for the Hunter to be followed home.
