      Mission engages Shansaric in battle, withstanding his psionic attacks until the Derro psyker uses his TK powers to rip the cyborg’s cybernetic arm off and toss him across the lab. Then he enters into full telepathic combat with Janex. With Savil’s help, Mission manages to communicate with the nanobots in his severed arm, and power up his disintegrator. It punches through Shansaric’s shields and bores a hole right through his heart. Unfortunately, this isn’t enough to kill the hardy psyker, and even after Janex kicks him in the head with one of his new artificial legs, he still manages to flee the lab. For his bravery in saving the fungus farm, Mission is promoted to squad leader. For his failure, Shansaric is beaten up by Graves.
