DM2400 CNC Milling Machine
The one draw back is that it does not use standard G&M codes, but rather has its own "Dyna Language". In some ways this is a blessing, because it is rather like Basic, and is fixed format, so it is fairly easy to generated from a Visual Basic program. (See Programming for more details). The machine is a full function 3D 3 axis machine, but I only use it in what is commonly called 2 1/2 axis machining. The part program is produced on the computer, of course, then down loaded to the little grey control unit to the right of the machine. This, in turn, controls the machining process. |
