Ancestor research in the Eifel / Germany

It gives an interesting Mailing list under Rootsweb.com. The URL
moreover is:

http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/DEU/DEU-EIFEL.html

In this Mailing list are more than 150 "ancestor's researchers" with
active interest in genealogy in the area the Eifel. (The Eifel: Area in the
western part of Germany. This area is between the cities Koblenz, Trier,
Aachen and Cologne) Possibly the half of these ancestor's researchers
are descendants of earlier emigrants and today they live in the U.S.A.

I am interested in researching Windrim's as it is not a very common name.
Our family is related to Windrim's who lived in Victoria County, Ontario
and who moved to London, Ontario, Canada. I do know that some of them did
come from Pennsylvania but have not been able to make the connection. Some
day I know it will happen but until then I am having some interesting
times tracing ancestors.

I view your website with great interest. I am a proud Kyngdon and have
much information that can fill some of the gaps.

One other thing: The coat of arms that we have bears the motto:
ACTIS NON VERBIS, not the one shown on your website. Do you know why?

I have been researching a family of UNDERYs from London who'se parents married Yorkshire in 1828. The father, Charles UNDERY did not come from Yorkshire but I don't know where he did come from.

UNDERY is a very unusual name and most appear to have emigrated during the last century. I am interested in tracing all UNDERYs and variants to start a one-name study and get to the bottom of this ellusive family.

I would like to hear from anyone with any connections to any UNDERY.
