'Many thanks for the photos, will copy them for Glenn. Finally spoken to Clive, some time back he received info (He isn't sure who from) on Brindleys. Clive said there wasn't much info in it, he wasn't much interested and sent it off to a ? Brindley (a 2nd cousin)? who he met when playing bowls in Warracknabeal, Vic.
Clive tells me Brindleys migrated from England to Portland Vic. Said the family later moved to Roma, Qld.
Think he said his grandfather (Claude?) was an Engineer and drove Cobb and Co coaches. Clive was born in Chinchilla, Qld. After the death of his parents he came to Benalla with a mate, a Victorian, he met at Morningside. I think he came to Benalla about 1958/59.
