CONTENTS
FEATURES:
* Replaces text strings in
any text file with other strings.
* Supports an unlimited number of text strings to change.
* Can be used in 5 different ways:
- via double-clicking ChannelFixer.exe
- via Window's SendTo context-menu
- via drag-n-drop onto ChannelFixer.exe
- via calling from another application
- via command-line
* Can be run silently with a switch, using any of the following as the 1st
parameter:
-s , /s , s , -silent , /silent or silent
USAGE:
* If you use SendTo, or drag-n-drop, the files
that were selected, or dropped, will be edited and copied to the target
directory (while keeping their original file extension).
* When ChannelFixer.exe is run directly it will edit all the files in the
target directory with an extension that matches the TargetExt setting.
* When you run "ChannelFixer.exe" it will check if a shortcut exists in
your Window's SendTo folder. If it does not exist it will be created.
* Original files are replaced by the edited files (unless using
drag-n-drop or sendto from a different directory).
* Only 9 files at a time can be processed via SendTo or Drag-n-Drop.
For Up2Date users the ChannelFixer.zip download includes an end.bat file
for transferring the TGD files to the Toppy. You need to edit
EPGdata in end.bat if
your epg directory on the toppy is different. You also need to change 2
settings in up2date.ini - change upload=yes to
upload=no and endbat=no to
endbat=yes.
Note:
The only error checking done relates
to the ini file. So it WILL overwrite files in the destination(s)
configured in the ini file even if they are newer
versions.
