If you want to fit a 17" rear wheel to your KR to improove tyre choice, or for racing here's what you need to do:

1: Get hold of a 91' onwards RGV250 rear wheel, sprocket carrier and disk.

2: get a 42 tooth sprocket from Talon or Renthal for an RGV 250 wheel.

3: Get spacers machined up to the following specifications as detailed in the following diagram:

what are the spacer sizes for a KR-1? as the swing arms are different

The spacer sizes are exactly the same for both the KR-1 and KR-1S.

yes the swingarms differ, but only by how much bracing there is around the shock absorber area of the swingarm and it has different sliding adjusters, but geometrically the swingarms are identical.

Had you not noticed that my Bike is a KR-1 Col?
