Moulin Rouge

| These costumes were for a Moulin Rouge party we attended a few months after the Baz Luhrmann film was released. I used my wedding corset as the base and threw together the rest... I got lazy, though, and did not sew in ruffles all the way to the arse, as I should have. George was dying for the long, lounging frock coat that the Duke wears in the 'Like A Virgin' scene, but we were pressed for time and cash, so I cobbled this together out of, you guessed it, curtain fabric! |
