Family portraits with a very standard setup.... my blue curtains as backdrop and floor covering. In the double shot of the two boys, i've got them leaning on a fabric covered coffee table. I pointed the camera then just shot the action as they tried not to be too self conscious.

MY HINTS FOR SHOOTING GROUPS: Two or three in a group is enough... any bigger and it starts getting hard to compose well. My cardinal rule about composition? Don’t stand 2 or more people next to one another! Boring! Have one person sit and the other lean over their shoulder, and the third sit on the floor or a child on the sitting person’s lap. Or sitting crosslegged and back to back, shoot them from above. Try to get heads close together so you can get in close. Be imaginative! But be careful of shadows thrown by one person across the face of another.
