or 'works I have done'
This is a textile postcard measuring 1.5m x 2.5m, designed for a Brisbane City Council project. It was made with women at the Migrant Resource Centre, depicting a typical shop in West End.

"A magical mystery tour or rather a magical mystery pathway now exists at Paterson Park, Northgate, a northern Brisbane suburb. This is one of the latest community projects designed by Kez van Oudheusden. Using ceramics, sandstone and landscaping, a collective which included artsworkers, local residents and other community groups created a seemingly enchanted landscape" . . . . . Stephanie Outridge Field

The idea was to feature gargoyles, grotesques and angels partly hidden amongst tropical foliage. The original design included a paved and winding path which eventuated as a packed gravel walkway.

Other community projects designed include a 15m x 3m Stage Curtain for Brisbane Ethnic Music & Art Centre,
and 2 large wall mosaics in New Farm Park. A photograph of one of these walls, featuring Art Deco roses, was featured on the cover of Telstra White Pages Brisbane phone directory. Another, featuring an open book, is on New Farm Library wall.
