This diet is given to people who need to lose weight rapidly before undergoing surgery. This fat-burning soup may be eaten at any time and will not add calories - the more you eat the more you will lose. The secret is that you will burn more fat than you take in. There are two keys to this diet:
One is to follow it religiously. Read the rules all the way through at least once and then refresh your memory each day as to what you should be doing that day. Do not deviate from it one iota. Those who have, have failed and the diet only leaves a bad taste so to speak. Just keep in mind that it is only for one week, at which time you can re-evaluate what you want to do.
Two is to eat a lot of soup. 4 or 5 bowls a day if you wish. This is an eating diet, especially the first three days. Don't starve yourself or it will have the reverse effect. Can be livened up with your favorite spices. Curry makes it delicious.

BASIC FAT BURNING SOUP

1 large bunch green onions
2 green peppers [capsicum]
28oz can tomatoes [or 2 cans]
6 beef bouillion cubes [optional]
several cloves garlic
1 bunch celery
1 large head cabbage
1 package onion soup mix
several bay leaves
herbs or spices
Cut vegetables into small bite-sized pieces and put all except tomatoes into pot. Cover with water and and boil fast for 10 minutes. Let simmer for approximately 30 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add tomatoes, bring back to boil and heat through. Add soup mix and simmer for 10 mins. May be seasoned with salt, pepper, parsley, curry etc to taste. Add extra tomatoes or cabbage if desired.
slim fruit DAY ONE
All fruits except bananas. First day consists of all the fruits you can eat except bananas. Melons are lower in calories than most fruit. Eat only fruit and the soup on the first day. For drinks each day, unsweetened tea, unsweetened black coffee, fruit juice or water only.
DAY TWO
All vegetables. Eat until you are stuffed with all the fresh or raw vegetables of your choice. Try to eat leafy green vegetables and stay away from dry beans, peas and corn. Eat these as well as the soup, as much as you want. At dinner time you can reward yourself with a baked potato and small amount of butter. No fruit this day.

DAY THREE
Mix day one and day two. Eat all the soup, fruit and vegetables you want. But NO baked potato today. 
BY END OF DAY THREE
If you have eaten as written for three days and have not cheated, you will find that you have lost around 5 - 7 pounds [2 - 3 kilos]
DAY FOUR
Bananas and skim milk. Eat as many as 8 bananas and as many glasses of skim milk as you can on this day along with the soup. Bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates and so is the milk, but on this particular day your body will need the potassium and the carbohydrates and calcium to satisfy your craving for sweets.

beef tomatoes DAY FIVE
Beef and tomatoes. Beef 10-12oz. You have to wash the acids from your body. You must eat the soup at least once this day. You can substitute chicken [broiled or baked, absolutely no skin]. If you prefer you may substitute broiled fish BUT only on one of the beef days.
DAY SIX
Beef 10-12ozs and vegetables. But no hamburger! Eat beef and vegetables to your heart's content on this day. Have a couple of steaks and lots of vegetables, but NO baked potato. Eat the soup at least once on this day.

stuff yourself DAY SEVEN
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables. STUFF yourself! Be sure to eat a bowl of soup at least once this last day.
REMEMBER - no fried foods, no bread, no alcohol, no carbonated drinks [even diet ones!]. At the end of the seventh day, if you have not cheated on the diet, you will have lost 10 - 17 pounds [5 - 8 kilos]. If you have lost more than 15 pounds lay off the diet for two days before resuming it. This seven day diet may be followed as often as you like. As a matter of fact, if correctly followed you will clean your system of impurities and have a feeling of well-being as never before. You will find you feel lighter and have an abundance of energy! Continue on this plan as long as you wish to reap the benefits.
