Queensland has a tropical climate and the traditional architecture followed a pattern of houses built on stilts for cool. There are many fine examples of these houses all over Queensland and more and more of them have been renovated in Brisbane in keeping with the original. We live in one ourselves, just a few kilometres from Brisbane City. Click the house above to visit ours.
Our Little piece of peace
Country estate!! At Coolibunya, north of Nanango, west of Noosa in South East Queensland - 5 acres of forest in the middle of nowhere! It's a 2 hour drive from Brisbane and we get up there for infrequent weekends of peace mostly in the winter months June and July when the weather is perfect and the birds fill the forest. Want to get away from it all (and I do mean ALL) in the raw Australian bush?
Click on our handmade house to find out more.
