Materials size 10 bedspread weight thread.
No 7 steel crochet hook
Gauge: 5 dc = 1/2"; 4 dc rows = 1"; 1 tr = 1/2" tall
Colours depicted are the colours of the pattern style.
3 different styles
1. Finished width is 3 1/4" (Blue Edging)
2. Finished width is 1 3/4" (Pink Edging)
3. Finished width is 2 3/4" (Yellow Edging)
Number 1
For V stitch- (v st.) = (tr,ch2,tr) in next ch or st.
For cluster (cl), yo 2 times, insert hook in next ch sp, yo, draw lp through, (yo, draw through 2 lps on hook) 2 times, *yo 2 times, insert hook in same ch sp, yo, draw lp through, (yo, draw through 2 lps on hook) 2 times; repeat from *, yo, draw through all 4 loops on hook.
Row 1: Ch 26, tr in 5th ch from hook, tr in next ch, (ch 3, skip next 4 chs, V-st in next ch) across, turn (3 tr, 4 V-sts).
Row 2: Ch 4, (tr, ch 2, cl, ch 2, tr)in ch sp of each V-st across, ch 1, tr in each of last 3 sts, turn.
Row 3: Ch 4, tr in each of next 2 sts, (ch 3, V-st in next cl) across, ch 9, sl st in top of last st on last row, turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, (3 sc, ch 4) 3 times in next ch-9 sp, 3 sc in same sp, sl st in next tr, ch 4, (tr, ch 2, cl, ch 2, tr) in next ch sp and in each V-st across, ch 1, tr in each of last 3 sts, turn.
Repeat rows 3 and 4 alternately until desired length. Fasten off.
Number 2
Row 1: Ch 14, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 5 chs, ch 2, skip next 2 chs, dc in each of last 3 chs, turn. (10dc, 1 ch-2 sp).
Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each of next 2 dc, dc in each of next 2 chs, ch 6, skip next 6 dc, dc in last dc, turn.
Row 3: Ch 5, dc in first st, dc in next 6 chs, ch 2, skip next 2 sts, dc in each of last 3 sts, turn.
Row 4: Ch 3, dc in each of next 2 sts, dc in each of next 2 chs, ch 6, skip next 6 sts, dc in next st, (ch 1, dc) 9 times in next ch-5 sp, sl st in bottom of st on row before last, turn.
Row 5: (Ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp) 9 times, ch 3, dc in next dc, dc in next 6 chs, ch 2, skip next 2 sts, dc in each of last 3 sts, turn.
Repeat rows 2 - 5 consecutively until desired length. Fasten off.

Row 3: Ch 3, dc in each of next 2 sts, ch 2, shell in next shell, ch 2, 2 dc in next st, dc in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st, (ch 1, skip next ch sp, dc in next st) 4 times, dc in last st, turn.
NOTE: for picot, ch 4, sl st in top of last st made.
Row 4: Ch 3, dc in next st, picot, (ch 1, skip next ch sp, dc in next st, picot) 3 times, ch 1 skip next ch sp, 2 dc in next st, dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in next st, ch 2, shell in next shell, ch 2, dc in each of last 3 sts, turn.
Row 5: Ch 3, dc in each of next 2 sts, ch 2, shell in next shell, ch 2, 3 dc in next dc, (ch 1, skip next st, dc in next st) 3 times, ch 1, skip next st, 2 dc in next st leaving remaining sts unworked, turn.
