FISH: ( make one of each colour except black )
BODY: Rnd 1: Starting at mouth, ch 3, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, 8 sc in ring, join with sl st in first sc. ( 8 sc ).
Rnds 2-3: Ch 1, sc in first st, 2 sc in next st, ( sc in next st, 2 sc in next st ) around, join. ( 12, 18 ).
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in each of first 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, ( sc in each of next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st ) around, join. ( 24 ).
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in each of first 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, ( sc in each of next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st ) around, join. ( 30 ).
Rnds 6-15: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join.
Rnd 16: Ch 1, sc in each of first 3 sts, skip next st, ( sc in each of next 3 sts, skip next st ) around, join. ( 24 ).
Rnd 17: Ch 1, sc in each of first 2 sts, skip next st, ( sc in each of next 2 sts, skip next st ) around, join. ( 18 ). Stuff. Continue stuffing as you work.
Rnd 18: Ch 1, sc in first st, skip next st, ( sc in next st, skip next st ) around, join. ( 12 ).
Rnds 19-23: Repeat Rnd 6.
Rnd 24: For Tail, ch 1, sc in first st, 5 sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 sts, 5 sc in next st, sc in last 4 sts, join. ( 20 ).
Rnd 25: Ch 1, sc in first st, 2 sc in each of next 5 sts, sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in each of next 5 sts, sc in last 4 sts, join.
( 30 ).
Rnd 26: Repeat Rnd 6, fasten off. Fold last rnd in half vertically, matching sts, sew centre 9 sts on each side together leaving 6 sts on each end unsewn.
FIN: ( make 2 )
Rnd 1: Ch 3, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, 8 sc in ring, join with sl st in first sc. ( 8 sc ).
Rnds 2-4: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join. At end of last rnd, fasten off and stuff. Sew last rnd of each Fin to each side of Body over rnds 11-14.
EYE: ( make 6 purple, 4 orange and 2 each pink, blue and teal ).
Ch 3, sl st in first ch to form ring, fasten off. Sew Eyes 1 + 1/4" apart over rnds 7 and 8 of Body.
MOUTH: ( make 6 red, 2 pink ).
Ch 10, sl st in first ch to form ring, fasten off. Sew Mouth to each Fish over rnd 2 of Body. Snap one curtain ring through rnd 13 at top of Body on each Fish, punching top centre 4 sts to feed fastener through.
FISHING POLE: ( make one each red, teal, pink and blue ).
Rnd 1: ch 3, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, 8 sc in ring, join with sl st in first sc. ( 8 sc ).
Rnds 2-101: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join. At end of last rnd, leaving 8" for weaving, fasten off. Insert dowel inside Pole and weave 8" end through sts of last rnd, pull tight to gather, secure.
LINE: ( MAKE 4 ).
With black, ch 100, fasten off. Sew one Line to one end of each Fishing Pole.
HOOK: ( make one each red, pink, black and blue ).
Rnd 1: Ch 3, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, 8 sc in ring, join with sl st in first sc. ( 8 sc ).
Rnds 2-22: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join. At end of last rnd, fasten off. Slip one Hook over each shower hook allowing upper catch on shower hook to pike through. Sew opening closed then sew Hook to Line.
