Bag: Rnd.1: With white, ch 150, sl st in first
ch to form ring, ch 1, sc in each ch around, join with sl st in first sc
(150 sc).
Rnds. 2-4: ch1, sc in each st around, join.
Rnd.5: ch 4, skip next st, (dc in next st, ch
1, skip next st)around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of ch 4, fasten off (75dc,
75 ch sps).
Rnd.6: Join pink with sl st in first st, ch 4,
(dc in next st, ch 1) around, join.
Rnds.7-10: ch 4, ( dc in next st, ch 1) around,
join. At end of last rnd, fasten off.
Rnds.11-12: With white, repeat rnds 6 and 7.
At end of last rnd, fasten off.
Rnds.13-17: With blue, repeat rnds 6-10.
Rnds. 18-19: With white, repeat rnds 6 and 7.
At end of last rnd, fasten off.
Rnds. 20-45: Repeat rnds 6-19 consecutively,
ending with rnd 17. At end of last rnd, DO NOT fasten off.
Row 46: Flatten last rnd, working through both
thickness', sc in each st and in each ch sp across, fasten off.
HANDLE ( make 2 ).
Row 1: With white, ch 101, sc in 2nd ch from hook,
sc in each ch across, turn(100 sc).
Rows 2-4: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. At
end of last row, fasten off.
FINISHING;
1: With pink, using backstitch, embroider across
length of Handle between rows 1 and 2; with white, embroider between rows
2 and 3; with blue, embroider between rows 3 and 4.
2. For drawstring, weave cord through ch sps
of rnd 4; tie each end in knot.
3. Tack ends of one Handle to inside edge on
one side of Bag 6" apart. Repeat with other Handle on opposite side.
