14th February, 2005.

The Secondary Cow-orker is still making a determined effort to make up for her dread predecessor's absence and, naturally, is delighted to find what she believes is another mistake left behind by the Cow-orker.

"I can't wait to e-mail her about this and get her to correct this!"

"Are you sure it's actually a mistake?  That's one of the things she was really obssessive about, and if you get it wrong she'll never stop nagging you about it."

"But I really want to tell her she messed up!  You're trying to spoil all my fun!"

"Fine, but just make sure you're right before you get her stirred up."

"Oooohhh!"

So the Secondary Cow-orker goes ahead and e-mails the Cow-orker to tell her she made a mistake.  And then she discovers that this was wrong. Now she's sitting around in a state that swings from hysteria to depression waiting for the wrath of the Cow-orker, and hoping that I'll be the one to pick up the call and not her.

The trouble with filling big shoes, is that sometimes they turn out to be clown shoes.
