The Mrs Thomas Castro Web Page

This page is dedicated to Mrs Thomas Castro.
(Who was also known as Lady Mary Ann Tichborne)

There's also something about another possible impostor (Yuz Asaf). See below for link.
He would be the most incredible impostor of all time, though maybe he was for real !
There are also links about religion, see the yellow box further down this page.

First, the Tichborne saga.
Thomas Castro was the name of the man who claimed to be
Sir Roger Charles Tichborne, heir to the Tichborne Baronetcy.

Whether he was Sir Roger has been the subject of speculation since 1866.

     HOWEVER
One thing we do know is that, before he made his claim for the baronetcy,
he married a girl named Mary Ann Bryant in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

For details of the latest book by Australian author, Robyn Annear.
Now a genealogy link. If you had an ancestor in Sydney in 1821, check this out.

Here is the story of another Claimant.

In Kashmir in 50 AD, this man claimed that he was Jesus Christ!  Follow this link to Yuz Asaf .
If he wasn't an impostor, then WOW!

Just to change the subject.
Christian Evangelists love to "quote" Flavius Josephus to prove how right they are.
Follow this link to find out just what Josephus did (or didn't) say!
But be careful who you tell, because as a wise man once said
"Hell hath no fury like a Christian scorned."
Finally, a few comments about a DVD I received recently. It's about a subject that puzzles
Agnostics, Atheists, Deists, Jews, Moslems Pantheists, etc., etc.. In fact, most everybody except Christians.
