Johnathan paints from the spiritual forces in the land which influence his work in relation to the atomic tests in the 1950’s at Maralinga. He has developed a technique that allows him to permanently combine fragile ochre with acrylic paint.

  • Johnathan completed an Academic course in Aboriginal Studies at Underdale College
  • Represented South Australia on the Aboriginal Art Committee
  • Solo Exhibition Tandanya Aboriginal Cultural Institute - "Maralinga" - Heart of the country
  • Touring Exhibition - "Native Titled Now" - Adelaide Festival
  • Exhibited at the Queensland Art Gallery
  • Works featured in important collections in Australia, Japan, London and America
