Major Revelations
On the Fixed Cross—2009

In this article I present a brief synopsis of possible effects that will be felt in 2009 by persons born on the Fixed Cross of the Heavens and whose birthdays fall on the following dates (Australian Time)...

Taurus: 14th-17th May
Leo: 16th-19th August
Scorpio: 16th-19th November
Aquarius: 12th-15th February

In general, it can be said that if you were born on one of the above dates you will experience (to a certain extent) a process of revelation that involves a new perception of the wider community with whom you are involved. This will be due to changing external circumstances occurring at various levels within certain community groups, and will potentially create a degree of uncertainty and/or confusion as regards your place within those groups. The changes will likely cause you to question your current affiliations with various groups and/or community organizations, and will lead you eventually to seek out and establish new, more desirable and positive fellowships within the community.

Some of the major personal revelations that you experience in 2009 may be the result of important organizational policy changes that impact heavily upon you. The conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune in Aquarius suggests a possible ideological shift that will transform the nature and appearance of various institutions within the community and this will lead to some of you experiencing an increasing sense of alienation and disillusionment.

Be careful that you don't fall victim to glamours and/or illusions during 2009. You are particularly vulnerable to illusions during this time, and susceptible to the ego's attraction to anything that might seem to enhance your self-image. Such distractions can subsequently turn out to be nothing more than self-deception. This is more likely to occur if you have unspoken unrealistic expectations (and/or secret personal imaginings) that you project out onto the world around you, but that remain unexpressed, and ultimately unrealized.

Because Chiron is also conjuncting Jupiter and Neptune during 2009, community groups and organizations that will be particularly emphasized are likely to be in the business of health and healing, the environment, or labor organizations, employment agencies, medical research facilities, etc.

In all cases, there will be an accompanying positive evolutionary and/or creative outcome in your life as you successfully transition away from an increasingly obvious negative (or illusionary) situation and work to establish relationships that are based on the reality of deep soul (or 'heart-felt') connections between yourself and the wider community.

Taurus: 14th-17th May

The revelations that occur for Taurus in 2009 will cause you to re-evaluate your associations and re-assert your personal values in relation to various groups and organizations. You will tend to gravitate towards new, more desirable business arrangements and partnerships (i.e. formed through Scorpio on the opposite side of the Heavens).

The waning square aspect emphasizes a Capricorn-Cancer evolutionary process. You may experience, for example, an atmosphere of oppression, control, and/or limitation coming from the upper echelons of an organization (or from a dictatorial family member) that, in turn, leads you to rally support in Scorpio in order to resolve an increasingly unsatisfactory situation.

Leo: 16th-19th August

Undesired changes that arise in your community and social groups in 2009 may lead you (Leo) to a growing realization of the fundamental differences that exist between yourself and the groups and organizations to which you belong. You may feel that you no longer fit in. You may also feel a lack of appreciation within existing circumstances, or a realization that what is being asked of you by the group does not resonate with you in a positive way.

The opposition aspect is resolved via the evolutionary Libra-Aries formula. You may come to realize that a particular relationship (friendship, or association) does not adequately accommodate the expression of your true creative Self. In this case, you might feel impelled to assert yourself and break away from that relationship, and instead embark on a more independently motivated path that leads you towards new and more positive, creative relationships within the community.

Scorpio: 16th-19th November

Scorpio revelations in 2009 may include a growing awareness that certain community-based partnerships that you have established and in which you have invested your personal energy and resources are not living up to your original expectations. You might come to realize that your own personal values are quite different to the values of the other people around you, and you might question the value of some people who you are dealing with (or doing business with). Be very careful when it comes to investing your valuable resources. There is potentially an illusory proposition that you might find quite fascinating and imagine to be quite lucrative, but in reality may lead to disappointment and loss. My advice is to not take seemingly golden opportunities at face value, but instead follow your heart-felt intuition when it comes to investing your time and energy in 2009.

The waxing square aspect is resolved via the evolutionary force of the Cancer-Capricorn formula. An increasing sense of disillusionment with regard to your existing support base (probably family, or business related) may impel you to take personal control of a situation by asserting your own sense of authority and decision-making capability (i.e. rather than relying on the sentiments of others around you). Unsatisfying circumstances may lead you to make some important decisions based on your own personal insight and gut feelings that will ultimately lead to positive outcomes.

Aquarius: 12th-15th February

It is possible that you (Aquarius) will discover in 2009 that your soul/heart no longer resonates positively with some of the groups in which you are an active member, and this may cause you to experience a strong sense of alienation. You may lose heart and become despondent and detached. This kind of revelation would perhaps be a signal to you that it is time to become focused in a new direction. Try to avoid (if you can) inappropriate and needless acts of self-sacrifice. Please do not worry, because transiting Neptune is helping you to tune your personality vibration more perfectly to the key-note of your soul. Yours is a special process of Self-revelation.

The evolutionary challenge of the conjunction aspect is resolved via the Aries-Libra axis formula. For example, the Aries archetype might manifest as you feeling pressured by an individual (or group) to involve yourself in some kind of community-based activity that doesn't really inspire you, or reflect your true nature and personal desires. The Aries archetype may also manifest as a welling up of positive emotional energy that motivates you towards a new path of community service. If the latter is the case, you might find that your existing comrades are not as enthusiastic as you are about it, and that they are unwilling to join your new cause. No matter, the resolution of this challenge occurs via a positive expression of the Libra archetype, so you will eventually find some like-minded souls who share your sentiments, and who are similarly motivated and orientated.
