TALKING BOXING SPORTFM - 91.3fm - 2009
The Talking Boxing Radio Program has been running for the past 3 years and many thanks must go to our past anchored hosts i.e. Mark De Mori World Heavy Weight Contender , Sean Nash from the Boxingwa Committee and Chief Instructor for the Balga PCYC. and Matt Simpson - Boxing Instructor from Sozokan Budo.
In 2008 Our anchored hosts were Jeremy Allan from Anvill Alans Boxing gym, Clinton Hosking Boxer Representative, 2008 Golden Gloves and Australian Gold Champion and David Hassan from Hassans Boxing Gym.
Every week the team highlighted the results from the years Boxing Tournaments, interviewed instructors and their team of boxers from the different gyms.
We highlighted the Women’s Boxing National Tournaments in which our own women boxers received Gold and Silver.
We promoted the State Boxing Team which returned to celebrate again with National Gold and Silver Results.
We also discussed at length the Womens Boxing Team that represented Australia in the World Boxing Games in China.
Our aim is to develop all Boxing clubs and Boxingwa to its fullest potential so that the general public can see the huge benefits of partaking in this Commonwealth and Olympic Sport.
The program has been on air since March 2009 - every Sunday 6.p.m.- 7.p.m.
This year 2009 our Anchored hosts are Jeremy Allan, David Hassan, Luke Sharp and Riccardo Montelone.
