Schapenberg

Through the generosity of Marion Wasdell, the pictures below are of Schapenberg, the house and farm in Somerset West, Cape Province, South Africa which H.V. Morton and his wife, Mary, had built in 1948 and where they lived until HVM's death in 1979 and Mary's in 1996. Marion, the present owner, has restored the house to its former glory and preserved all the Mortons' documents, books and furniture, which she has kept basically just as HVM and Mary left them.
