Wild Grasses of Victoria - Nov-Dec 2018

Biosphere Pty Ltd's Dr Graeme Lorimer has been running courses on the identification, ecology and management of wild grasses and their relatives for 29 years.

Applications for the 2017 course have closed and greatly exceeded the number that could be accommodated.

The next course will be in the 2018 flowering season. Over three days, it will train participants to identify almost all Victoria's wild species of grass (plus a few related species such as sedges and rushes). It also explains how to read the landscape and manage vegetation well through an understanding of the grass species present.

If you're wondering whether to express interest in next year's course, here is a testimonial:

"The grass course is inspiring and informative. Graeme provides a broad introduction into the world of grasses (as well as valuable knowledge to those with more experience) and provides a diverse range of activities for hands on learning. An absolute must for anyone interested in native grasses. Even if you weren't that interested in grasses before, you will be after the course."
