Availability

In addition to business hours, Southern OHS Solutions can be available on weekends and evenings to provide consultancy work without additional penalty costs for out of business hours services (which may allow greater flexibility for you!).

Our goal is to provide accurate and constructive OHS&W advice and training to assist in improving safe workplaces and meeting OHS&W statutory requirements.

Our Consultant

Mark Braithwaite is our principal consultant for Southern OHS Solutions and he has over 17 years experience in health and safety spanning Commonwealth and State based legislation with a range of OHS&W and training qualifications.

Mark is an accredited internal (public sector administration and healthcare) auditor and also has qualifications in Training & Assessment. Mark has been seconded by TafeSA as a lecturer in Occupational Health & Safety and has been highly sought after in this role.

Mark's service strengths are within training/education as well as self insured environments, healthcare, mining/resources, administration, auditing, emergency planning/fire safety sectors and much more. This vast array of skills and experience can be applied in almost any field of work - particularly when it comes to broad OHS&W matters or those relating to laws and codes of practice.

Fees

Fees are structured depending on the work required and are designed to be as cost effective for businesses as possible. Due to a range of favourable circumstances (eg: lower overheads, already based in the country, etc) Southern OHS Solutions has the most competitive fee structure in South Australia!

A guide to Southern OHS Solutions fee structure (unless otherwise advised any amount is GST excluded):

	Consultancy fee (hourly rate, daily rate or a quoted fee for service)
	Travel expense - cost recovery exercise only (approx 25c per km)
	Accommodation charge - cost recovery exercise only (usually $100 per night)
	Fee for provision of a one-off service (eg: policies/procedures)

A summary of fees is available to businesses by request, upon initial enquiries, quotation sought or a free consultation for work to be undertaken.
