Description: Southern OHS Solutions (SOS) is providing a free service
to update businesses on Work Health & Safety (WHS) information that may
be relevant to their needs. This service will also keep businesses informed
of any SOS workshops, township visits and other services that may be of
interest in the region. Cost: $NIL - Free service
Suited for: Any business who may benefit from being kept up to date

Limitations: This is a South Australian service only and is tailored
with information relevant to the Eyre and Mid North regions only, and
relevant to the SA WHS events. You may opt out of the service at any
time by requesting your email to be removed from the mailing list.
*FREE* INITIAL CONSULTATION:
Description: Effectively an on-site real time discussion with you about
OHS&W. Many businesses know they need OHS&W assistance but
don't know their obligations or where to start or simply what services we
can provide to help you! Allow up to an hour for a free chat with a
highly specialised consultant! Cost: $NIL - Free service
Suited for: Any business not sure where to start with OHS&W
Limitations: Outside of Whyalla this free offer is available when
already in the area or can be conducted by phone. However, it can be
combined as part of a service package purchased or incorporated into other
services provided.
SAFETY APPRAISALS
Description: Qualified appraisal of workplace (or part thereof)
with a pictorial report containing safety improvement suggestions.
Real time advice and tips are provided. Safety Appraisals are an excellent way
to initially identify concerns where you are not sure "where to
start". Appraisals will also cover due diligence processes and provide a fresh
expertise perspective for where safety officers are already employed.
And it only takes an hour or two of your time - a great way to get advice

site. Cost: starts at only $200 for most small
to medium and not-for-profit businesses. Additionally, Payment must be received
before report is provided. Note normal cost is $250 and will apply
after this promotion ends.
Suited for: all businesses
Limitations: Surcharge for fuel is applicable for businesses outside of
Whyalla unless already in the area (eg: $235 cost for businesses in an arc
from Kimba) . Most small to medium businesses can access this service at
the cost stated. A quote can be provided for larger
worksites to be appraised or where it is out of town. Service must be paid for in advance. Reports
typically take only 7-14 days to produce.
SAFETY CULTURE SURVEY: Description: What do your workers think of health and safety at your
business? Your safety culture reflects the values and attitudes of OHS&W
in your business. A good safety culture empowers your workers to
deliver positive business results and lowers injury and workers compensation
costs. It's a great way to get an understanding of where your business
lies and an opportunity to tap into the key ingredient that makes safety
work in any business! Cost:$150 - in advance
Suited for: All businesses
Limitations: This offer is for businesses who employ up to 100 staff
(head count). Small surcharges apply for larger businesses - contact

OHS&W POLICY STATEMENT: Description: Two page OHS policy statement suitable for all small
to medium businesses that complies with OHS&W legislation. Cost: $30 in advance
Suited for: Small to medium Businesses
Limitations: Pre-prepared document tailored to the
business.
