If you already have a Home Fire Escape Plan then this session will be tailored to test the effectiveness of the plan

Cost

This service is provided for $55 (GST included) and incorporates what is outlined in the service description above.  It is conducted on site at your premises and strictly subject to when Mark is already in your area (for areas outside Whyalla).  Payment must be provided in advance.

The cost includes off site feedback or follow up enquiry on a home escape plan developed as a result of this planning session, if desired, for up to a month after the session is conducted.  On site feedback after the session may also be available if Mark is in the area.

Outcomes

This is effectively a "training" session for the household (family, single person, couples etc) and the outcome will be that the household will have the knowledge and skills to prepare a home fire escape plan.

While the plan itself will most likely be drawn up after the session by the household, most of the details and design of the plan will be developed and recorded at the planning session.

Ability to seek feedback on a plan developed from this session for up to a month after the session (eg: you email or post copy of plan for us to provide some feedback for you).  This service may extend beyond a month at the discretion of Southern OHS Solutions.

More specifics about the planning session

Payment is required up front for the planning session to occur.  Payment can be made by cash, money order or cheque in advance, or at the commencement of the planning session.  The session will not go ahead if payment is not received.
There is no set timeframe for the session, as it is flexible to your circumstances.  As a guide, a minimum of 1-2 hours should be set aside.
The fee covers consultation, advice and assistance to help the household develop an effective home fire escape plan or to work through an existing plan.
Sessions are designed to be conducted outside of normal business hours to maximise the benefit of the session for all household members.
Planning sessions outside of Whyalla are strictly subject to when Southern OHS Solutions is already in the area.
A free follow up enquiry or feedback on the outcome of a drawn up plan is available.  For those outside of Whyalla, this is conducted by email, fax, post or telephone unless Southern OHS Solutions is in the area.
Home fire escape plans need not be complex - usually a floor plan either drawn up on paper, graph paper or even on the computer is all that is needed (did you buy your house recently and have a floor plan from the real estate agent?).  If you have one available then bring it along to the planning session! In fact, take a few copies so you can draw up a plan at the session!
The planning session is intended to be a consultation and training session and it is intended that the plan itself be developed after the session (to enable all the bits and pieces to be taken on board and included).  If the plan is actually drawn up at the session - that's perfectly fine also!
