FeesFees start from as little as $35* per hour for typing and administrative tasks and $70 per hour for bookkeeping services (plus GST) as a guide. See sample terms below for more information about our fee structure. It is difficult to provide an accurate quote until the work is sighted and considered as many factors can affect the speed in which some work is carried out. We're very flexible to work with you to determine the most cost effective solution and are happy to work within the boundaries and guidelines you want to set. As a guide for typing services, a 700-800 word page of straight typing from notes, easy to read handwriting, scanned document is quoted at 10 minutes. A fixed charge can be agreed to and yes we can charge based on a daily or project basis if desired. Some good things to know:
* All amounts quoted exclude GST and exclude additional expenses (eg: bulk postage, photocopying or printing costs). Higher rates may be applicable for higher level administrative tasks (eg: human resource advice, consultancy, interview panel) and urgent work (eg: work required same day, working public holidays).
Sample Terms & ConditionsThese are not our full terms and conditions but are simply provided in good faith to help explain some information before you engage our services#. A free initial consultation is available to all clients to determine the work required and agreements to maximise benefits and accuracy etc. This is generally limited to 30 minutes but we are flexible, and do allow extra time for new clients. There is no minimum amount of work required (a minimum charge of one hour is applicable). Most charges are apportioned in 15 minute blocks. Payment of fees in advance in full will always ensure a discount. A significant discount may be available for your next job if you refer any new clients who engage our services. Payment methods include cash, cheque, direct bank deposit or credit card through Paypal. Unfortunately payments through Paypal incur an additional 5% of the service charged, plus applicable GST. Generally we ask that new clients pay 50% in advance and the balance on completion of work (or as otherwise agreed to). New clients may also be required to complete a work order application to help us understand the work and business needs required. Regular/return clients will be invoiced to payment terms which is usually 7-14 days. Large projects will require a deposit (as agreed to). We are not always in a position to control the work we receive, so it will be on a first in first served basis where there are conflicting demands. An increase in the hourly rate may be applicable for any urgent work or where it strictly involves out of hours work (eg: working on a public holiday). We strive to produce 100% accurate work every time and we will fix a clear error on our part at no charge. Verification of the work is the client's responsibility. The hourly rate covers all agreed physical work undertaken and includes most emails and phone calls between the two parties. The fee also includes some printing, standard postage for one or two items and travel within Whyalla to pick up/drop off work, post letters/pay bills etc. Any additional expenses such as further postage, business phone calls, printing, faxing, travel costs for clients outside of Whyalla (eg: Iron Knob, Port Augusta, Cowell, Roxby Downs) etc are additional expenses incurred and will be charged as cost recovery.
