is power, and that having access to resources is a way of empowering ourselves
and our students to work towards a more enlightened and humane society.

we encounter a variety of cultures in our classrooms. It is important for
educators to have prior knowledge of the diverse cultures present in the
classroom. This will help the teacher understand his/her students better
and allowing the instructor to assist the student with learning the skills
neccessary to be successfull in school as well as understanding and adapting
to their new environment |
